My original drop off location had been closed and the reservation was still scheduled for that location (Carbondale, CO). This was a massive inconvenience and the client services person (Casandra) did little to try to help.

"Don 1616" was highly unprofessional. I was imposed a $25 fee for a truck that I had cleaned. I objected, and he got very nasty, and verbally abusive. His behavior was totally uncalled for.

It's the only option in the area. I think the problem wasn't with them, it was with your website. You can "reserve" equipment that isn't available...in my case I reserved a 10 foot truck that wasn't even in Glenwood Springs, so I had to go with the 15 foot. Also, my original pick up location discontinued u/haul services 3 weeks before my pick up date and U-Haul didn't even notify me.

The biggest concern wasn't with location, but with customer service from U-Haul representatives. Lady I spoke with wasn't friendly or professional and wasn't receptive to customer needs. The other issue was equipment reserved wasn't at location reserved at. Based on this particular experience, I will not be returning to U-Haul for my truck rental needs and I have posted my experience on Twitter for my friends and colleagues to review. I had to wait 2 hours for my truck to arrive as the previous owner didn't return it on time. I know this is not the fault of Uhaul, but in this case it might be worthwhile to offer a discount if the late customer was being charge for being late. I had no choice to wait as I had purchased a an item to pick up that had a pick up deadline. Uhaul might consider a guarantee that the rental will be available when reserved.

I would invest in a better website experience. The constant and annoying poop ps trying to seel me other stuff and services would keep me from ever going back to the UHaul site.

I brought my truck in the day before to check the brake controller and it worked fine, the next day when I went to pick up my Uhaul I had to wait thirty minutes to even talk to a rep, they had me psychically move the trailer by hand (as it was parked badly) and hook it up myself. The right turn signal on the uhaul would not work, they insisted it was my fault, then when checking the leads on the brake adapter the customer service rep blew my fuse and caused sparks to fly everywhere. Now it took another hour for them to fix the issue... and on top of all the waiting and hassle that they caused at this location... THEY CHARGED ME THE PART THEY BROKE!

It's disappointing to have returned the truck with the tank 3/4 full (according to the receipt provided by the dropoff location)-- which was about 12 gallons more than listed on the receipt provided by the pickup location -- and yet to have been charged an extra day because we were 44 minutes late returning it. At $3.75 a gallon, your gasoline replacement charge, we turned the truck in with about $45.00 more gasoline in it than we picked it up. That's more than the $40 a day extra-day charge, not to mention the extra-day coverage plus the tax it generated. We acknowledge that we were 44 minutes late and that the letter of the agreement called for the extra-day charge, yet we believe the result was imbalanced toward your company.

Very unhappy with my service. Reserved a 15ft truck online to pick up at a local place 5mintues away Was in formed that morning of the move they didn't have one and was told I have to pickup 30 minutes away and then will have to back track. Then was called and said they didn't have the vehicle there and had to go another 20 mile west to pick the truck up. Which closes at noon and we only had an hour and half to get ther and the lady was insisting that she was helping me. How is that helping me having to drive 60 miles oneway to pick this truck up costing me more money in gas that I reserved online for a pickup that was originally only 5 minutes away Uhaul get your shit together

I thought you guys were cool, because Don was nice at the counter, but your truck had a loose side view mirror, and you charged me for fuel when I had filled the tank past the agreed upon level. Fuck you guys.

There is absolutely no "customer service" at this location. They really don't seem to care - too busy? tired of your job? don't need the business? just unhappy with your life??? My guys arrived to pick up the truck and were told that they needed to go over to another location to pick it up! I had been diligent in my communications with this business and was never informed that the truck should be any where but where I made the reservation. Luckily the truck worked fine and the movers (Free My Sheep - a local non-profit) were fantastic and I would give Jose & Kyle my highest recommendation!

The truck was returned late, so even though I was late to pick it up, I still had to wait. You can't leave your car directly on site either. I liked the people there, but I just don't think you can fully count on consistency. They also gave me the truck at 1/8th tank and prorated if I filled it up to 1/4th. The prorated gas was nice, but they need to be on it more so that it doesn't stress the customers out.

The first guy was very accommodating and answered all my questions very accurately. The last guy when dropping off only said "any problems" and nothing more. When the paperwork was done he said I would get an email. He did not offer to unhook the trailer or even tell me what to do with it. I guess I could have just driven off with it but I offered to park it wherever he wanted it. I unhooked it myself and rolledup the harness and chains cleanly for the next renter.
