The trailer blew $20 in fuses on two vehicles. It would work initially then blow fuses on restart. Annoying and dangerous.

Nothing. The guys at alpine motors always take the best care of me. And they were able to fix my harley instead of getting ripped off at the dealer.

I dropped off my car and dollie at this location late at night when I got into town so I could unload the truck at my new house 20 miles away. I tried to call the location the next day and let them know that I left my car there but all I could get was the general customer service rep, and they couldn't help me. Also the uhaul where I picked up my equipment told me that it was ok to leave my car at the drop off location. When I went to go drop off the truck the next day, they told me that they were about to impound my car. Luckily I arrived just in time and it wasn't, but as a company Uhaul can definitely communicate better within locations and should also be easier to be contacted by their customers rather than have their phone calls be forwarded to a general customer service representative. Then I would've been able to contact them since driving 20 miles to tell them wasn't convenient, nor did I think they would go as far as impounding my car just for leaving it in their parking lot for just over 24 hours.

I was not told when I rented the u-haul van that it could not be dropped off at the destination where I was moving to. It was privately owned by Alpine Motors. I found that out when I picked van up. Too late to find something else and they old had one 20 foot truck which I did not need. Very expensive trip for van.

The Denver scheduling center called at 4:45 pm the evening before I was to pick up my equipment and told me that it wasn't going to be available. No reasonable alternate was offered causing me to reschedule a moving crew and change the closing on the sale of our house. U-Haul needs to improve their operation!

Honestly, the location and people were fine. My comment overall is with UHaul and the quality of equipment. I rented a trailer - to Haul my possessions across country. I booked a couple extra days to pack the trailer etc. It was very surprising to me that the trailer had no mechanism to lift the trailer from the ground up and onto the car. Most trailers have an arm that swings down onto the ground. You can then crank this up so that the trailer is the right height to be hitched to the car. Having this essential piece of equipment missing was a major problem. I had to call a friend to bring blocks to prop up the trailer and eventually had to use my car jack to prop the trailer up to the right height to get it onto my car. Shame on you guys for being so cheap and inconsiderate of your customers. I'm sure I'm not the first person to be so inconvenienced.

Wise professionals. No nonsense, friendly service. The best U-Haul location I have ever experienced.

Either the people working in the Glenwood location are the smartest people in the whole world and are overwhelmed by the stupidity of their customers or maybe they are just jerks! Maybe they just hate their jobs and want to take it out on the customers.

Better to call the location directly rather then calling UHAUL when making reservations. UHAUL totally screwed up and confirmed and guaranteed my pickup on a DAY THAT THE LOCATION WAS CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I doubt I'll ever use UHAUL scheduling again

Alpine motors was excellent. I was supposed to get a 10' truck at the Buggy Wash in Carbondale, however it appears they sold me out to transport a 26' truck back to Denver. The 26' was at Alpine. The gentleman at Alpine realized what was going on and wasn't happy Buggy Works had sold out his 26'. I really only needed a 10, and Buggy Wash tried to stick me with a 4MPG beast that was entirely too large for my needs. They suck. Alpine Motors was awesome and hooked me up with a 15' truck, which was still to large, but I didn't need to buy $100 in tie downs to keep my stuff from flying all over the box.

I'm wondering why I passed by 3 or 4 other uhaul locations on the 20 mile trip to this location. Why can't I use any of the other location? I checked and some of them had the equipment we needed. SO why don't they show up online? And nothing against the place we picked it up. They were very nice, helpful, etc etc, but a location closer would have made our moving day so much better.

I had not had the opportunity at the age of 54, to be quite as insulted or given such shocking service with insults and bad language thrown in for good measure, until I had the misfortune to walk in to Alpine in Glenwood Springs CO. The manager Don somehow managed to charge my credit card $1498.00 in addition to putting a hold of $300 before I even took the vehicle (a F-150 - as the 15 foot vehicle I had reserved five days prior was "not available" -) and Mr "Don" then had the temerity to explain in colorful language peppered with f**k and S**t every other word - that such charges were never made by him at all and it's the fault of those "motherf*****s" at U-Haul. Needless to say, I will not return. However I can highly recommend U-Haul in Carbondale just 10 miles away where you will find exemplary service with a smile.....ask for Sergio or Maritsa who will take great care of you. When I entered the shop, none of the staff acknowledged my presence although they didn't appear to be doing anything else at the time. Don, the person who helped me, made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience for him. I called him early in the day to let him know I would be there right before closing because of my work schedule. Instead of saying "ok, not a problem" he told me "we close promptly at 5, so I hope you're on time." When I got to the shop, there were three other people there waiting for service and for each one of us, he rushed through all the paperwork as quickly as he could, mumbling and speed talking through all the liability and release information. He treated all three people in line the same. "Your van is out back, go get it" he told another customer. After he raced through my paperwork he just said "we're done here, the trailer is outback. Be sure to return it by 10:00 tonite because someone else needs it in the morning." He did not come outside to go through an inspection or show me how to use the equipment...fortunately I know how to do this myself. The trailer had been used by the previous customer to haul dirt or yard debris and much of it was still in the trailer. Mud was caked on the floor of the trailer and I had to wash it out to use the tie downs. There was mud on the outside of the trailer as well and it covered the outside of the wheel wells. I do like UHaul and all of my other experiences at other locations have been outstanding and the employees have been more than helpful. Alpine Motors in Glenwood Springs is the exception to this rule as they were rude, unhelpful and didn't seem to want my business. I will not be renting from there again. As well, I will tell my friends to find another UHaul to go to.

The manager there is clearly racist. Very rude & disrespectful. Toward myself and my family. I left very angry that day, had enough stress moving already! He told me I couldn't park my car on "his" lot so I had no where to park it ended up parking 3 blocks down and having to walk back for the Uhaul with all my family on a rainy day!!! Also ask him to try a breath mint. Definitely will not be using Uhaul again. Fuck this place
