The truck was rented to me by a polite older gentleman who was professional and pleasant to deal with.
Fire the people running the stire
The man in charge at this location knows how to run a business
Excellent service I recommend this location highly
Not all jobs require a large hauling capacity and a minimum number of passengers. In our case we were a family of 4 stuck in Golden with a prolonged car repair. A four door short-box truck or even a small SUV/hatchback would have been much preferable to the 3-passeger pick-up I rented. There are no car rentals in Golden and intermittent bus service so the pick-up was our only option. I would recommend that you extend your fleet is this location to include 1 or 2 vehicles that hold more passengers.
Owner used profanity. Never going back to u haul!!
I was told to drop the truck off at 9 am, but the location wasn't open until 10 am
Both location workers we dealt with were polite, courteous and efficient.
most freindly/likeable people you could meet
Don't rent them a Ford! Lol.
Perhaps there could be some improvement in equipment (truck/trailer) availability.
Very nice pick up. Friendly and helpful staff
Free energy always does a great job to try and accommodate their local clientele. I use them frequently and am always satisfied they do their best.
this location has excellent customer service
The truck speedometer is in miles with km in hard to see grey on black at the bottom edge of the gage. This makes it difficult in Canada to go the correct speed. Either have the Kms printed in white or put an equivanlancy chart on the dash. Please!
Everything was very good. The advent was very friendly
They never answer their phone. I called four times over four days with questions about mt rental. No one answered. I left several messages and no one called me back. I had no idea how I was going to return the vehicle as the store was closed when I arrived. It's a good thing it was possible to return it using the online option.
Great service at the desk
The floor was muddy but not horrible, ( driver and passengers floor) step was a little muddy. The passager seat had a bit of animal hair. I did wipe down the passenger and driver side floor , before I drop it off
Very thankful for your help
Everything was good except when I dropped off the vehicle. I returned the vehicle before the office opened and tried to drop the keys in the lock box. However, the slot in the lock box was too small for the key fob. I had to return to the location later in the day to drop off the key as there was no place to leave it.
When I picked up the moving van I was told I was responsible for the moving blankets, their condition, cleanliness, etc. But when I went to pull the truck out, the blankets were on the floor in the back & the door was wide open. I was told it's because homeless people come by to sleep in the trucks. I felt bad for them.. but it made it difficult for me to be responsible for the condition.. when I didn't get it in the manner I was to leave it in. Another problem I had was that the truck was not filled with gas. It was estimated at ~1/2 tank (or slightly under). I returned it with at least $100 more gas in it than how I picked it up. (I was told to return it with same amount.. just under 1/2 but I wasn't about to drive over mtn. passes, keeping my gas tank less than topped up. I felt it should've been filled to the FULL mark, so that I could drop it off doing the same. Because it wasn't, I lost another $100 there. :(
