I have a small balloon business and I rent from here often. This was a horrible experience because the van was absolutely disgusting and I had no choice but to take it because of professional jobs I had waiting and no other van available. There was not even time to clean it. The back has stuff spilled all over with dirt sticking in the sticky spills, the can was so dirty on the outside I could barely see out the windshield, and the cab STUNK with thick sticky goo spilled all over and trash & clothing shoved behind the seats. But to make it more palpable someone put a NASTY air freshener in it to cover the smells, which I’m allergic to. I went in to discuss it and best I could get was for the agent to come out and get the trash out. It’s horrible. I had to hose off the van myself, line the truck with plastic and then put down blankets to be able to transport my balloons. I’m a regular renter, and I don’t ever get the van dirty… it’s just unacceptable to give someone a vehicle in this condition.

Cheyenne HI initially liked this location prior to May 22. Reserved a 10” truck, the truck was one of the worst I’ve had from U-Haul damage and maintenance wise. It had a dolly, and a furniture mover in the truck that the employees were not aware of. I rented an appliance dolly but I informed the desk that I would just use what was “floating” in the back of the truck. Anyhow, when I returned the vehicle I had driven only 10 miles, with a starting fuel amount of 3/8ths of a tank. When I returned the truck I did not top off the fuel. The needle was just below 3/8ths of a tank so I assumed I’d only pay the extra fee for the gallon it may have used. The desk employee input the info, and the system was going to charge $67 just for gas. I mentioned that it didn’t make sense, and all the employee said was “gas is expensive man”. I said no it doesn’t make sense. I told him that I’d take it and top it off. I ended up putting 3.5 gallons in for $17 and the truck showed half a tank of gas now, which was higher than when I picked the truck up. Their system was still trying to charge $67 for fuel fees. I said no. The desk told me that he’d have the manager adjust the values the next day and email my receipt. Upon walking out, the employee added “Well now we know for next time, fill that bad boy up”. Like no? Your system or inputs were off, and did not line up with the contract’s $6.99 per gallon charge if you didn’t return the vehicle to pick up values. I’ll never come here again.
