Truck pick up was a horrible experience. I've rented U-Hauls for many years, never an issue until this rental. I arrived at 8:00 am for my truck, Customer rep at the location did not know how to support a truck rental, and said "I don't know what to do." He sort of figured out what was needed, but rep could not open the key box. Rep did get finally get key box open and gave me the keys, checked the truck mileage, said everything was good to go. I found out later in the day when I checked my U-Haul App that he never initiated the reservation, so it appeared as if I never showed up for the rental. U-Haul Customer Service was notified after I checked the app and they initiated the reservation for me. So I had the rental truck in my possession with no active rental in the system until I called. Worst case scenario- this could have been reported as a stolen truck. Also, I requested a dolly on my reservation, but no dolly was on truck, and counter rep said they had no dollies there (which I found out at drop off was not true). Drop off went well, the rep knew what they were doing. Overall, I would avoid this location if at all possible.

Train the employees better? Somehow make them check out trucks when they come back.
Patricia CThe gentleman doing the pickup process seemed new, not sure of the process. Plus this is a gas station so he waited on 8-10 customers while interrupting the pickup process. It took an hour to finish the process. Longest pickup I’ve ever experienced. If you are going to have rentals at a gas station, then you better have 2 employees always on duty so you can make this process shorter.
Kurt RLocation didn’t know how to do the rental, took an hour just to get the keys to the truck. Then realized there was a lock on the back door that neither the location nor Uhaul service knew the combination to. Spent two hours going through all of this and couldn’t even use the truck to move
Brandon WWarn people not to park before you do the drop off in the app. I was required to back in, and the parking lot has basically a cliff behind it.
