my only complaint was that I could not stand the smell as a result of someone smoking in the truck

Stacy is very knowledgeable and extremely professional!

The problem I have is the hidden taxes that are charged. Why is there an environmental fee, I'm not leaving anything to be disposed of. How can a rental tax be as high as $11.03 for driving only 138 miles, that is ridiculous. Definitely a big turn off. The people at Ace Hardware (Stacey) were very nice and helpful. Frank Luca

Everything went smoothly as stated, no hidden charges, highly recommended

The 15ft truck I rented had only 1/4 tank of gas when delivered. Should have policy of delivered and returned with full tank. How else is renter supposed to know how much fuel is consumed?

I got the truck back 2 days earlier and I thought I'd get a little discount but I guess not

Trailer lights didn't work when vehicle headlights are on. Directional and brake lights worked though.

I was not informed that the rental charge to travel out-of-state and return to original location was well above the $19.99 per day quote.

Adjust your prices... .69 per mile is absolutely insane....

Unable to find and check my order out. Not inspecting a truck before it leaves. Puts the renter in a bad position. Did not go over the truck had damage and could leak. I just happened to find it when going through the last renters papers that had been left behind

Experience was AWESOME!!! Plan to do it again as i volunteer in Haiti yearly and it costs us so much to get all the luggage to the airport so will consider using another similar trailer next trip!! Thanks!

I can't think of anything. Staff was very helpful and the truck was perfect for my needs.

The brakes on the van were not working properly. When I applied the brakes the whole truck shuddered. This happened at highway and back road speeds.

the lights were difficult to figure out how to turn off. Almost had to leave it after hours with lights still on. Would have liked to know that it was not a simple turn off and have instructions handy.

I reserved a 20' truck on a Thursday for Saturday. When I went to go pick up the truck, they couldn't find the key to the truck. Had to rent a 15' truck, resulting making two trips to move instead of one, costing me more money in mileage.

The truck was covered in snow although I had reserved it several hours before pick up. There was not even a snow brush in it. A co worker dropped it off, and before doing so he put $15 of gas in it. We only went 28 miles. The tank was less than 1/4 , prob closer to 1/8, when we started and we filled it to that amount . I was then billed another $60 for gas . Totally unacceptable!

U-Haul is still the easiest and cheapest way to rent a moving truck. That being said, having a handtruck in every van at no extra charge sure would be nice. I have rented from U-Haul many times before, and several times have found a handtruck in the back, not locked up, and it sure does come in handy. Just my 2 cents.
