I had a horrible experience with this location, by far the worst I've ever had with a U-Haul store, but enough to deter me from ever using U-Haul again. The reason is actually pretty simple. There was shattered glass that covered approximately 1/3 of the ramp. This in itself wasn't that big of a deal, but the interaction that I had with the store and the national customer service center really just made my experience regretful. All I wanted was for someone to take care of the glass on the ramp. I wanted them to either clean it up or replace the truck. When I contacted the store, they said there wasn't anything they could do about it and to contact emergency roadside assistance. When I contacted the '800' number, they told me that I needed to deal directly with the store. The responsibility of who was going to take care of the issue was deflected from the store to roadside assistance to the customer service center. It was such a waste of time - over an hour on the phone with these various representatives. When I asked to speak to the supervisor, I was repeatedly denied the opportunity. This only increased my anger. I ended up having to clean the shattered glass myself and it was such a tedious task because all I had was a flimsy broom. The glass was in such tiny pieces and there were grooves on the ramp which made it difficult to slide the glass off of the ramp. I had to sweep over and over sections of the rigid ramp to try to get the glass off. My main concern was that I was not going to get all of the glass off of the ramp and some of the glass would get into my household goods that I was sliding across the ramp - specifically, I was worried about my children's toys going across the ramp as well as if I swept some of the glass into the driveway or garage. I will not ever use U-Haul again. Not only because of the store, but because of the customer service center. Although the issue was because of U-Haul not making sure their equipment was in the proper order, the issue became solely my problem that I had to fix.

The truck was great. I need to double check the fuel gauge next time. The employees marked the fuel gauge at 7/8 when it was 3/4. I drove a total of 17 miles and ended up putting $10 in gas. I'm sure the truck gets better mileage than that. When I tried to explain to the employees about how many miles I had driven, how much gas I had to put in(I showed receipts) and how it didn't make any sense. They became rude with me. They told me I must have been driving fast with the truck overloaded. I had to move one couch, that is why I got a pickup and I was driving in town the entire time. Anyways if I do rent another U-Haul, I won't take your word for anything. I will have to now be critical of everything that is said. If I ever rent a U-Haul again.

I dont think Kids should be running the place..took down wrong mileage for me did not inform me of very important information..over charged me because the milwage was wrong...using words like I guess. .almost all the time ..i dont really know...and been happening forever...terrible answers

Overall, this location is OK. However, it really depends on who is working. I reserved a trailer and appliance dolly on a Wednesday for pickup on a Saturday, and when I arrived on Saturday morning when they opened - there wasn't an appliance dolly available. Staff was very helpful and basically said there wasn't anything they could do. I had to suggest that we contact another location to see if one was in stock - which I had to go pick up. At least the afternoon crew was able to remove the charge for the dolly when I returned the trailer.

I went to pick up my truck and the dolly for my car. The Dollies' strap was broken. I then had to go to a different location. The guy there charged me twice for my truck which caused me to overdraft. I believe they returned the money but it has not reflected on my account. I am now in a new city with no money until it is back in my account. I am highly upset and stressed

Jessica was helpful in directing me after I arrived at the office. When making the reservation I did inform her of my intention of a one way trip. The reservation was made via phone I wasn't told until my arrival that I could have made a one way trip. I actually had three different locations call me which was utterly confusing. I will not use u haul again and neither would I recommend them to anyone else

The second time in 8 days I rented a truck. Both times the location was late opening. Once 30 minutes and today 10 minutes. I run a business and had employees waiting, which cost me money. The air conditioner on todays truck worked intermittently. My business is growing and I foresee renting trucks at least once a month. If I continue to have problems I will have to switch to Ryder or Penske.

Save yourself some stress and go somewhere else. The website changed my order after I clicked "confirmed." It would NOT let me change it online. When I called customer service they hung up on me. They did not provide a way for me to get the number to call the local place (remember, the website changed everything about my order when I clicked confirm). By the time someone finally called me to confirm, they were out of the vehicle I needed. Then, (the day of the move) they had to transfer me to a different U-Haul location on the other side of town and I had to demand that they not make me pay for those miles. I will NEVER use U-Haul again, and I recommend that you do not either.

Better explanations on how to operate the truck. Such as the differences between operating a moving van versus a passenger car. Also, the "Tow/Haul" switch, why do you need to use it, when to disengage, etc. Also, any explanation on where you may experience problems. Examples of this would be up-hill versus downhill driving, in-traffic versus highway driving conditions. Because this was a one-way, cross country move versus an in-town move, I thought that the explanations should reflect that.

Improve your scheduling tools. As seems to be the usual now, my reservation was double-booked with another customer, and they were not able to give me the truck for the total time called out on my reservation. This forced me to completely rearrange my plans. I won't be using U-Haul again because this is the 4th or 5th scheduling and availability incident I've had.

This is the first location that I went to where I arrive to find out the reservation was CANCELLED. Was rude and smug about it and he was the owner. Wouldn't rent me any of the 4 26' trucks that he had on the lot because he said those "were his". Would never step in there again. Had to hire a taxi to go across town because of him.
