The UHAUL "reservation" process was not explained to me prior to picking up a truck at the location on my reservation. We show up at UHAUL Moving & Storage, Heritage Park, Simpsonville. Man sitting at desk states that the reservation does not guarantee a truck at that location you chose on the reservation. UHAUL is supposed to call you the day before to confirm a location that has a truck you need. I don't know they choose a location for my pick up. What is the point of a reservation?? UHAUL stated my phone was disconnected (it was not - I received texts and calls from phone carrier, internet service and W&D delivery services throughout the same day UHAUL state I had an issue) UHAUL didn't even bother email or send text me if my phone calls didn't go thru. Very frustrating. The man sitting at desk placed a call for a truck near me and ignored us. We weren't sure if we were being helped or not. I received a call to decide what location we needed a truck? I asked for the closest location to me. I still don't understand what the reservation was for?? The Space shop Storage location had the truck we needed, so we drove 10 more miles out of our way to pick it up.
