I think the employee and the customer need to go over the details of the truck together at the drop off site just like they do when you are handed the truck for the first time.

Renting a uhaul has never been more easy. The manager at this location was the nicest person I have dealt with when renting a uhaul. The manager was very welcoming and was nothing but smiles. You could tell she takes a lot of pride into her work. She made sure the truck was cleaned out for me. This location was very clean. The next time I need a uhaul, this would definitely be the location I use.

Upon arriving at USA storage space in Griffin, Ga on bowling lane, I discovered that my reservation was not on my dashboard on uhaul.com. I had to leave the facility and come back to the location wasting time and gas. In between, I called u haul customer service line and remained on hold for over an hour due to the fact that I was told I had no reservation. I was transferred to several employees before I spoke with anyone who could give me any answers. The last representative I spoke with rectified the error made by the employee who initially reserved my truck, stating that some info such as my email and phone number weren't valid/ or left out in the system. After the phone call I was then able to start my after hours checkout on the truck. Upon arriving at the pickup location; I noticed as I put the key in the ignition, the fuel level was a below the 1/4 mark; barely non in the tank; but the fuel level listed by u haul was at 1/4. USA RENTAL STORAGE was closed and I couldn't ask them why would they rent out a u haul and have no fuel in the truck? I called back u haul to complain but I was on hold for another hour and no one answered so I hung up. I used the truck and returned the truck within 24 hours. I had internet issues with my phone and I was not successful in returning the truck by phone. I then contacted U haul by phone and asked if the representative could notate my file stating that I had issues returning the truck on line and that I returned it with the truck cleaned out, and gas back where I left it. I don't understand why I am being billed $30.00 for fuel fill up, $15.00 for ez fuel when there wasn't a 1/4 of gas in the truck. I left the gas hand where I started at the location. I also made sure that I cleared out the truck and I was sent photos of a piece of wood inside the truck. I moved a cherry wood table in and out of the u haul, and that piece of wood did not come from my belongings. I expressed that to the USA representative, and she stated with an unpleasant tone that I shouldn't be concerned about the trash/ wood left behind, but the other fees added to my receipt such as the gas fees. I was applaud and decided to contact u haul customer service immediately and filed a review on my order.

Trailer would be better if center of gravity could be adjusted. Had to use alternative tie downs because tongue was too low with front tires on stops.

The employees at this location were extremely helpful. I am disappointed in my overall experience with UHaul corporate! I had reserved a trailer at a more convenient location but approximately 1 hour before pickup I was contacted by corporate that I needed to go 15-20 miles out of my way to pickup trailer! I assumed a confirmed reservation meant a trailer would be available at the requested location! I guess you have some fine print somewhere advising that isn’t the case. I was moving my 98 year old father and this added extreme tension and frustration to the process!! I’M NOT HAPPY WITH U-HAUL!!!!! Again, the local agents I worked with were GREAT in trying to help me and eventually found me what I needed at a location I could get to without going so far out of my way. This location and the agent at 880 Kendrick Road, Jonesboro, Ga were a great help in relieving some of the aggravation we were suffering during this move! I can’t say enough good things about the employees at these locations!

This trailer had a bad electrical connection. After connecting to the electrical outlet it blew out our rear blinkers and brakes lights. We took it to the UHaul Center in Jonesboro GA on HWY 1941 and he tried to repair the Uhaul outlet as much as possible. He said he couldn't believe the condition the plug was in and they should of never rented the trailer in that condition. They where able to get the right rear blinker and brake light to work but the left would not work during our 6 hr drive to Florida. This is the second time this has happened to us using the UHaul trailers. Now we will need to have the bulbs replaced on our Buick Enclave . We've rented from UHaul about 4 times this year and this has happened to us 2 times. This could of resulted in us having a bad accident with no brake/turn signal.

Get employees who know how to answer questions and can explain the process! She couldn't tell me anything!!! Everything I asked got an answer of " I don't know " WORST experience ever! First and LAST time I would EVER use this company. AND I put a gallon extra on what i knew was used in gas just to be safe so there was zero questions of surprise charged and STILL was charged 14.03 extra. UNBELIEVABLE! I WILL tell anyone I know thats moving to NEVER USE UHAUL!! Y'all should have compted something on this for the terrible experience !!

How is required to put down $100 cash deposit was told that when I return the U-Haul truck I would be giving $100 cash back only to find out they have to mail me a check in the mail I pacifically asked them what I get cash back when I return the truck and they quoted me yes and for that reason I would not recommend this facility anybody

Truck had been wrecked on side. Never told about miles being charged. Was not disclosed on website either!
