I was charged citation fees for toll booths which I had paid when I drove through them but charged anyway. This facility lacked equipment and supplies for my moving needs. Go elsewhere and don't forget to obtain receipts when going through a toll booth.

We were told to go online at the New London,Ct Uhaul,that was not much help as your Web site would not allow us to put the destination we were going to and the reason we needed the U haul truck oneway to Btv. More info on how hard it is to rent a truck for oneway out of state needs would be great!! We didn't know it would be a problem and not as common in your business.The 800 number helped us a lot in the end.Thanks.

The staff told me where to leave the trailer, then i went in to sign out but realized I was at the wrong uhaul. They told me not to worry and that they would take care of it. That was incredibly kind of them!!

When I return the rental tried to charge me double because I had to wait a few minutes for my phone to charge and turn on before I could go through the return process and it was a few minutes after six. Thankfully that was reversed but The process should be changed so that there is some grace period to return times in the system even if that’s not actually what the charge is going to be in the end. It was very worrisome at the time

Don’t make them go to different locations to pick up equipment. I had to go to Groton for the auto carrier and Middletown for the truck

Was told key was in wrong place at before hours pu. Was charged wrong should have paid 60.00 for comm acct paid 79.00 spoke to person at uhaul headquarters and very rude person.

The lady try to make customer drive to a different Uhaul location after realize someone need it in a different location, Telling me that i droped the truck off to the wrong address. give customer attitude and act like i rent the truck for free. did not check the truck after return. Need to get fire. i do not and will not rent Uhaul again.

The employee was not trained on the self check out process, which made things take an hour. The first truck that we were assigned looked like it was ready to fall apart, was able to swap to a newer truck and it was filthy inside. It took an hour to clean it out. Upon returning the van woman was rude and tried to overcharge me. Overall dissatisfied.

Associate very friendly and efficient. The only thing is I was gonna be just a few hours late on bringing the truck back and they were gonna make me pay for a whole day didn't think that was right should look into that policy.

Rented a moving can. It was dusty and had an odor. Ended up replacing my mattress cover. Customer service was exceptional.

Daily Business hours 9am - 5pm are not convenient. Sunday business hours are even more restrictive 9am - 3pm. Front Counter person was not polite at all.

Our initial rental was at Woodys in Groton Ct. I reserved a pickup truck for 8am as we needed to tow a rental that we needed to pick up at 8. We were told at 7:30 the day of that he didn't have the truck we reserved and said we could get one at another store at 9 instead or take their box truck at 8am as we needed it for 8 am. We drove to Westerly RI to get my rental and found out that the ball jack would not work. After complaining to uhaul I was issued a $50 credit and was told I would not be charged for gas. The bill came to $68 of which I had to pay the remaining $18 out of my pocket. It's just the principle of it now. I'm amazed that someone doesn't take more pride in their business to actually give me grief when I complained to him. He insisted that it wasn't his fault and I should have gone to the other store at 9am. Apperantly it's easy to take my reservation, but he can't deliver in the end. The other store was a pleasure to do business with. My only mistake was trusting Woodys.

The location had one person working on a Friday. There were 6 people waiting to be helped and the woman working was doing her best but admitted she was new to it. It seems like they'd provide her with some help on busy weekends

I pre-paid to make my pickup faster!!! Pick up was scheduled for 2PM - did not leave the location until 3PM. The delay was blamed on the system being down. Poor excuse and terrible service.
