Was notified from Uhaul that my original location of East Providence, RI did not have the available truck and would need to drive to Newport, RI to obtain rental. Upon arriving the store manger said there was no truck available and she could not help me. She didn't offer any solution. I drove over an hour to Newport store just to be told there was no truck. Not sure why Uhaul didn't call me to tell me this. I called the 800# from the Uhaul parking lot in Newport, and was told there was a truck in Groton, CT which is 1 1/2hrs away from Newport. Uhaul Rep said they would deduct $150.00 from my bill for the inconvenience. However, I only received $50.00. So I drove there for the rental. The clerk who helped me was very nice and understand my situation. The truck was ready to go upon arrival.

MICHAEL SThis location was fabulous and my check in young lady was pleasant with a smile and very friendly. She made the move somehow feel less stressful. However, I did visit the establishment where I had made a reservation a week before hand first( I believe route 184 across from Groton Walmart) and they didn't have my truck and couldn't contact the person nor had a dolly ready that I ordered. Somehow, they made it my fault and had attitude with me and seemed as though they really didn't want to help me with a smaller truck. He sent me to the Bridge Street Location, which i had a fabulous experience with it there. So thank you young lady at Bridge street.
