I was not allowed to start the check in process until I was both at the location and after my reservation time. The check in process then took an hour to go through (and restarted half way through). This time was counted as part of my 4 hour reservation (giving me 3 hours to move) causing stress and rushing.

I had a terrible experience with another U-Haul franchise in the area trying to confirm my reservation. In fact, it was so terrible, that I chose to call Safe - N - Sound to see if they could help me out. To my surprise, Rose was still there after hours, and she was more than willing to help me out of a bad situation, as I did not want to give my business to the location where my original reservation was. She slipped me in on one of their busiest weekends of the year, and stayed late that day, and came in early the next day (the day of my reservation) to get me out and moving early. Rose was a wonderful person who went out of her way when she did not have to at all, was very patient with my situation, and could not have been kinder. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Excellent experience.

The woman gave me a hard time about the mixup with pickup for the truck and again when I switched the location to Groton for drop off. I was very communicative with all parties the entire time. Someone there was helpful by allowing me a no charge extension on the time I was alotted to have the truck since there were several mixups between location and drop off times.
