Drop off had no attendant and 5 equipment returns were lined up backing almost into street before attendant came out to process paperwork. This process was very brief and efficient and was done in less than 2 minutes after rep arrived. Good experience overall.

I have been on hold now for 45 minutes to talk to someone at your company. That is very bad service. there is no number for the local store I used for my rental. I have $45 in surprise fees after returning the rental van after 2.5 hours of use. I would like to discuss this, but again, no one seems to be answering the phone.

Be better at explaining options that U-Haul offers for renting by the week vs renting by the day. This was very vague.. and not helpful. I was just told that I would be informed of the actual charges and given the best rate available once the van was returned. That was no help to me in determining if it was cost effective for me to keep van for longer period.

Professionalism, it’s a very simple concept but obviously this kid and his staff are unaware of it as well as “Taylor” - amazed if this location stays in business: Your company canceled my rental for a 26’ truck for 10 days and then gave me a 20’ truck for 1 day. They also lied and said they had contacted me and confirmed this, which never happened and your staff even said they do that all the time. While there the manager, Josh and then the next day Ryan, said they don’t rent 26’ trucks for local it’s against policy - then why when I called and spoke to you did you do it? No answer just a stupid look. Also you can look at my history and see that the Corp manager Taylor changed my reservation several times without notice. After they realized their mistake they “booked” a 20’ truck at another location. I didn’t trust them and went there only to find I was right and they had a 15’ at a location 15 miles away in Norwich, Ct. I ended up having to use two separate 15’ trucks and even with a “discount” it was still more expensive than the original quote. This is a very poorly run business and I will never recommend and will highly suggest to others to use your competitors.

Customer service was horrible, didn’t tell me all the charges id be charge. But 1800 number for customer service was awesome!

Our reservation was set up for 9/1 at 5:00PM and the location did not have it ready in time. It was supposed to be a truck share 24/7 and they did not prepare it. I was on hold with with customer service for an hour waiting to figure out what happened. The person on the phone was very helpful, but couldn't do anything until the next day (9/2) at 7am when the location opened. Overall, U-Haul needs to email or call you when they cannot meet the criteria for a reservation. It delayed our plans and there was nothing they could really do about it. Besides that, the truck and location were clean and well stocked with extra materials.
