There was a mix up with the billing and the staff was very friendly and helpful in rectifying the situation.
Daniel LMy comments are only POSITIVE in each and every occasion that I dealt with anyone connected with U-Haul at Big Sky Muffler. Courteous, professional, always treating me with respect as a person rather than another customer. Will continue to use them for any moving needs in the future.
JOEY MThe process as it is now, it was a very smooth process to reserve, picking up, and returning
JOEY MYou need to provide the following two items when you rent a large trailer: chocks for the wheels, and a jack for the tongue. These are not nice-to-haves. They are safety items. First, my destination parking-lot was NOT level. I ran the risk of the trailer slipping overnight, so I had to buy chocks. Price? $50. For exactly one-time use. Second, I couldn't lift up the trailer-tongue. That meant I had to buy a jack. Price? $70. So Even though U-Haul quoted me $109.20 for the trailer, my true cost was $229.20. I had to spend the money for my safety and others. I'm 72 years old and I tried to lift the loaded-trailer tongue off the trailer-ball, but couldn't do it. For the safety of others, I had to leave the trailer overnight in an apartment parking lot that was not even close to level. So I had to eliminate the risk of trailer rolling into parked cars or apartments. That means chocks. Before I left Big Sky Muffler I pointed out I needed a jack. They didn't have them, and made it clear they didn't care. The clerk argued that such equipment wasn't anything to do with them. The clerk was trying to defend the indefensible. While the clerk was wrong to argue, I view U-Haul's as the villain, not Big Sky Muffler. U-Haul is not providing the needed safety equipment. Shame on U-Haul management. If you get slapped with a class-action lawsuit, I wouldn't be surprised.
