Easy access, close to 95. Simple to rent and pick-up. If they had longer operating hours I'd give it 5 stars. And, lol... the spicy old dude that runs it... He's a tad grumpy and uses some salty language, but he seems harmless. I don't know his story so I'll give him grace. More importantly though, he's efficient. He got our trailer hooked up quickly, and we were on our way. Personally, we thought he was hilarious and we laughed about it while driving. When we returned the trailer, he was out the door to meet us as we pulled up. He processed our return and had the trailer off in a snap! Easy! So, if a grumpy guy and bad language upsets you, either be prepared or pick a different location. As for me, I like spicy so I'd rent here again, no problem!

Frederick HThis is not a rating for Hardeeville Small Engine. This is a rating for U-Haul. I reserved a 15' truck almost two weeks in advance. Two people came from out of town to help pack up. The day before the rental, U-Haul confirmed the truck but did change the location. There was not much difference so this did not concern me. The next day U-Haul changed the location to a location no where close to me. By this point, it was too late to find another company, as people had already traveled from out of town to help. I don't care what your excuses are, but a reservation is meaningless if you do not honor it. I will not do business with U-Haul again.
Rodney ZThe sign said open but the guy wasn’t at the location and wasn’t very friendly once he got there. I had to contact customer support to get a response. It took over 15 minutes. U-haul as a whole is usually a much better experience.
