This was the worse experience I’ve ever had with Uhaul and unfortunately I’ve used them a lot due to relocating. The truck I picked up was dirty with dog hair all inside. The truck they gave me was already damaged on the bottom and sides. I purchased a utility dolly that was not in the truck. They told me I had to drive 30 min to the other nearest uhaul place to pick one up and I wouldn’t get my money back if I didn’t. I wasn’t able to go get it I had to take my kids an hour away to a relative just so I could move without them being bothered. I had no dolly and I had a dirty truck. Then, they charged me a cleaning fee and I was told it was because I put the dog hair was in there and it was dirty. That was when I received the truck I didn’t do that to have to pay for it. It was a nightmare. Moving was terrible but this was a nightmare and although I’ve used them so many other times before, I will never again due to how bad this experience was. I spoke to customer service so many times due to the existing issues, the dolly then the issue returning the uhaul.

Samuel SI would like to note that my return location was set to be Midtown Discount Tire. When I arrived, I found an empty lot. After conversation with the surrounding businesses, and a call to U-Haul. I was told the location was closed and I was to return the equipment to Fowlers Furniture. This took over an hour of my time and U-Haul sent me a bill for the additional mileage required to re-route the return which I am now having to dispute. I am VERY disappointed that this was not communicated to me in advance.
