The reservation wasn’t in the system even though i had confirmation via email. So instead of just being able to pick up keys I had to call the 1-800 number and be put on hold so they could put my info in the system. The night before I confirmed everything I was suppose to do. It made me a hour or more behind schedule whilst moving a 2 bedroom apartment.

The website and app delayed my pickup and drop off by an hour! There were issues with the booking and no one could help me at the location. Same with the drop off. Horrible service! And on top of all that, they want to charge me 300.00!

Kayla YMy experience renting the truck involved interacting with helpful U-Haul representatives. Dropping off was strictly self-service, requiring downloading an app to my phone, inspecting/photographing the truck myself (including taking a "location" photo to assist your future customer), etc. etc. Personnel at the drop-off declined to help; directing me to follow an "after-hours" process even though it was the middle of the business day and they were open for business. Not very customer friendly.
