I rented a open trailer to pick up new counter tops at Menards . I picked up the trailer at 10:21 am.I needed to return it by 5:00 pm. they said the charge was $34.95 and if I brought it back after 5 to park it where I picked it up.I returned it at 5:15 and parked it where she told me, a few days later I get an email and they had charged me for 3 days $112.45. I called and explained what happened and was told they would review my case and call me within 3-5 business days. I never heard from them and I checked my bank account after the time was up and they had refunded me $38.00. So I rented a 12' open trailer for 6 hours and 24 min.and they charged me $72. 95. I will not be doing business with Uhaul again.

Customer service was very rude. They were not very helpful. The manager would not listen to our concerns. To begin with, we were sent 45 minutes away to a location that was closed. We were then sent to a location that was an additional 45 minutes away by the main traffic center in Dayton. I was not sent an email that this location would be closed, and you have failed to notify me on their end even though it was in their notes. This lady at the main ce traffic center told us that we would have 300 free miles and two days free. She did not explain to us that this would be in addition to what we were already renting. We asked her several times, and she did not clarify, which led us to believe that this would be taken off of our additional fees. When we got to the new pick up place in Huber Heights, we explain the situation and explain what we were told. The manager told us that this was not applicable when this was not right and not U-Haul policy. Even though 2 1/2 hours of our time was wasted and our moving schedule was put behind even though we were on a deadline, the only concession she had was that we could get a $50 refund check that she could not tell us who it would be made out to, where it would be mailed, or when we would get it. We still are not sure that we are going to get this because everything from the Dayton office and the Huber Heights U-Haul office was unprofessional and unclarified. Then my mother was told that we couldn't get the U-Haul because she turned to me and said this is bullshit in frustration. My mom did not say this to a worker, to the manager, or to anyone else in the store she said this to me. She didn't scream this she didn't curse and make a scene. However the manager made it out to be that that is what she was doing. In closing, this establishment needs new management and updated policies and how to assist customers along with how to correct mistakes that U-Haul makes not the customer!

The air conditioner in the vehicle did not seem to be working very good on a day that was in the low 90’s, but over all the experience was good. I would recommend this company, staff and location to anyone.

I was charged twice and when I went to get this corrected the manager was having a panic attack crying while at the front desk. I had to patiently wait for the associate to locate the video showing i had returned the the same day. The person responsible for conducting an inventory count for following did not count my trailer on the yard, hence I was charged a second day.

The trailer I was first rented wasn't on site. The Uhaul employee then had us hook up a different trailer and was going to change the paperwork, but another employee told her that the tire on that trailer was "flat" and we couldn't use it. (The tire pressure looked low, but it was not flat.) We then proceeded to unhook that trailer and hook up yet another trailer. The woman working with us also littered the wrapper and rubber band to the electrical wires she used on the trailer. That level of disrespect for the community and the environment at large was off-putting. The entire experience was distasteful.

Was sent here from another location that did not open when they were supposed too. This location was very accommodating and very clean and well kept. Personnel were very friendly and took care of my issue and had me on my way in no time. Very friendly staff!

I purchased some extra packing equipment and when I got to my house I realized they're not in the back of the truck. So I tried calling and the phone rang for 15 mins no one answered. When I returned the vehicle I brought it up and the girl immediately goes "thats a different system, you have to tell us ". When it comes time for the return inspection, there's employees walking around vapping or sitting in their cars listening to loud music. This location is really unprofessional.

On drop off they found that on pickup somehow they didn’t give me the correct paperwork for thr trailer they hooked on mt uhaul truck, but they stepped up and called and fixed the inventory between the two dealers, check in was very easy.

My reservation was at KS Foreman 2230 N Dayton-Lakeview Rd, New Carlisle, OH. When I got there there were no U Hauls there. The person there looked up my reservation and said my 6X12 trailer was at Pro Window Tint 8011 OH-235, Dayton, OH 45424. When I got there, the 6X12 trailer was there but Pro Window Tint personnel were not. I called there number and they said they were not doing Uhaul anymore and told me to go the Brant Pike location. They were able to get me a trailer, but when I got home there was dirt, leaves and grass in the trailer and I had to clean it out. The people there didn't seem to care that I was inconvenienced. If UHaul didn't have a monopoly on this kind of rental, I think your customer service would improve.

Coordination with customers and other locations, overall communicate more effectively throughout. I called and reserved a truck and trailer, when I arrived, the trailer had not been brought to the location I was picking up. I had to drive to the location to pick up trailer (which added miles to the truck I rented). I should NOT have had to do that. Additionally, I was uninformed that the trailer I rented could be dropped off at pick-up location at no charge (which would have been out of town) until AFTER I DROPPED IT OFF causing me to add more miles to the rental. The equipment was great, however the customer service was not.
