Their convenient location and hours of operation enabled us to returrn the equipment on time and within our travel radius. We were greeted with a friendly smile and was able to get the equipment return to inventory.
ANTHONY AIt would help immensely if the trailers had accurate information on the configuration of the equipment, ie: single drop down ramp, dual ramps, roll top doors or barn doors, etc. I have had to rent a 6' X 12' trailer for a piece of my daughter's equipment several times a year for the past two years. I can only use the enclosed trailer with the double barn doors on the rear because the mechanism for the roll top takes an extra 3 1/2" of space from the height. Her equipment rolls in with less than 1/2" to spare. I end up calling at least 5 U-Haul dealers to find the correct trailer, some as far away as 1 hour, 2 others 30 to 40 minutes away, and one 20 minutes away. I always ask if the trailer has the barn doors and without exception, they tell me there is no way to know without physically walking out to look at the trailer as the item number does not provide that information. Most of the time they tell me they will not walk out to check, I have to come and look for myself. Based on the times referenced above, this is a huge commitment of my time and resources to drive to these locations only to find that they do not have a trailer that will accomodate my needs. Please include in your equipment reference number an accurate description of the features included.
