The van had its windshield wipers stuck on. When I called for help, I got transferred to a different department. When I explained the problem, they said they couldn’t help me and transferred me to yet another department. This person sent me to the location at 6525 East Washington, 4.2 miles away. When I arrived at that “service location” it was a u haul storage facility and they told me they don’t work on uhauls. The policy of having your customers drive your vehicles to your service centers and then charging them for that mileage is ridiculous. Not only that, but you didn’t even send me to an actual service location. I was sent on a wild goose chase. Well, I decided to cut my losses with the added mileage and just use the truck as is. The location didn’t have an appliance dolly either, and we had to move 2 washers and 2 dryers down stairs as well as 2 chest freezers. We had planned on maybe moving 2 refrigerators and 2 stoves also, but we decided against it because we didn’t have the right equipment. When I picked up the truck the gas gauge was on empty.

He had all the information, was extremely kind and patient, explained everything incredibly clearly, and even sheltered me from the rain during the interaction. Whatever he's making, you need to pay him more.
John JMy original pickup location was changed a couple days before my reservation. When I arrived on time at the new pickup location, they had no truck, dolly, or furniture pads. I was sent to another location that didn't open for another hour after my original pickup time, and when they did open all they had was a truck, so I had to go to yet another location to get the dolly and pads. Set my whole day behind by two hours.
