The person at the front desk was nice an seemed to know her job well. The vehicle was poor. It drove like it was out of alignment and appeared to be poorly maintained. The gas tank was approx. 1/4 full so I had to gas up right away. I thought Dolly's and blankets were included in 26' trucks, but none were in the vehicle so I had to rent. Cargo area wasn't swept out so I had to do that before loading.

After we had loaded our truck, my husband went to start the truck to leave and it would not start. The battery had died. We called the location we rented it from and left a message. Our call was returned about an hour later. In the meantime we were eventually able to jump the truck (it took several tries). The woman at the office offered to extend our return time (which wasn't needed) but it was quite frustrating and did delay our experience.

Security door did not always work with the password. Had to use another door, which worked fine. Door was hard to push open from the inside and did click from the outside but did not unlock. Told management.

Truck windshield was on the left side held in with tape- that had been there a long time- we did not notice it till drive on the major hwys to OKC and the whistling and load noise in the truck- made for a long 13-14 hr trip

Have your employees actually do a walk through of the uhaul before you leave, make sure they have the correct amt circled for the fuel instead of them verbally telling you where it is at otherwise they charge you $28 for 1/8 of a gallon of gas missing! Never again will I rent from them!!!!

The 24/7 pickup thing was a disaster. I reserved online and even called the location to confirm and was told everything was all set and I could call the 1-800 number if I had any issues when I came to pick up the truck... When I arrived at the scheduled time the app kept sending me back to the sign in page and would not let me continue the pickup process, so I called the 1-800 number. They showed that my reservation was for a 'phantom' truck and someone had not returned a truck so I was just out of luck unless I wanted to try another location. So I canceled that reservation and tried 3 other locations... each time the app had me enter all of my information, credit card, drivers license, etc, and each time when I got to the last page and clicked 'complete purchase' it took me to a screen that said 'your reservation has expired, please call us at the number below for help'. It was a local (MN) number for some guy named Joe and there was no answer. After trying this several times, I logged out and back in to the app to find that the reservations had in fact posted to my account. So, because I was still sitting at the first location I tried to reserve for and saw several trucks sitting there, I tried the whole reservation process again for that location and sure enough it allowed me to reserve a truck, but only for 4 hours instead of the 18 I had originally requested. I needed a truck, so I completed the reservation and then the app allowed me to go through the entire pick up process and I was able to get the truck! Fast forward 8 hours to this morning, when I got an angry call from the location wondering where the truck was... I explained what happened and that my original reservation was until 2:30 today and I needed the truck until then. The agent chewed me out because now he didn't have a truck for someone who had a reservation this morning. Then he informed me that they aren't even supposed to be participating in the 24/7 program because "it's a mess." He's right. It is a mess. It's a great idea, but you have to work out the kinks and get all locations on board with it before you go live or you are going to have a bunch of disgruntled customers like me and, I suspect, the person who didn't get a truck this morning because I was still using it. Thanks.

The fuel reading was inaccurate when I picked the truck up. But I didn't notice til later. So that was my error too. I brought the truck back with the same amount, but still got charged for fuel.
