Have pre-registration information on computer to use when you check-in. They hand wrote all information and then had to fax it and wait for paperwork to be faxed back. Wasted my time doing pre-registration!

This location is trying to charge $14 for additional fuel. The fuel gauge needle never moved down during the trip. I put 4.5 gallons in the truck before I returned the truck. The fuel gauge needle never moved up after fueling. I drove 44 miles. Gas is $2.08 today. How much is fuel marked up? 200%?

I only received 1 phone call from this location, that was on Tuesday morning. The morning after the trailer was due back. When I called back, it took them forever to pull up my name and when they did, they weren't able to give me any specifics on where or when to return the trailer. I tried explaining to the clerk that I couldn't find anyone to work on the truck, and I would need to keep it past my return date. I asked if there was any concessions she could make considering my circumstance. She was very abrasive, stated no, it's policy and basically told me that was my problem, not hers. I returned it on Saturday, but the store hours at this location are not conducive to a working person. Open late, close early. I was not aware that my card would be charged the late fees as soon as the doors opened on Monday. I was under the impression, they would call and ask me to come by so we could do a walk around inspection and then they would ask how I would like to handle the late fees. The entire experience dealing with this depot location was short, unhelpful, and to be blunt. Basically un-professional in every aspect of the operation.

I want to give a GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT to Danny at U-Haul in Jefferson, Ga, it was a great experience there after the day of moving we had. Danny was very nice, very understanding, and just plain helpful! I encourage anyone who is planning on moving or storing your things, go to U-Haul in Jefferson, Ga across from Wells Fargo Bank and ask for Danny, I promise u won't regret it!! Assure they have computer and electronic capabilities. Everything done by hand. A waste of time to do the online check in. After filling out paperwork BY HAND, he had to fax it to someone then call to see if they got the fax. Very tiresome, laborious process.

Facility did not open in time. Facility had no computer so the manager was not aware of my reservation. Paperwork had to be faxed to UHAUL through another facility. Process took 1.25 hours resulting in unnecessary delay and time constraints for me.

The only issues I has with the vehicles was that the side mirrors would not stay in the desired position. They move inward limiting my peripheral view. This posed a serious safety risk while operating the vehicle.

Again, poor business practice. The Jefferson drop-off location was archaic. I'm certain the gentleman assisting me is pleasant, however his cubicle sized office lacked any accommodations of comfort to include air conditioning. Also the technological equipment used at this location was primitive by business standards. A 5 minute transaction took the better of 30 minutes and all so that I could receive a petty overage charge for mileage because I had to store my belongings a couple miles further away than I'd planned. Great job uhaul. I'll be sure to tell everyone I know.

My Original pick up location on Lyle Rd in Jefferson was not open on time and I had to have customer service change my pick up location. They were suppose to be open at 8. No one was there with no sign on the door.
