Tony was great to deal with. We booked a one way trip to Calgary, and had previously gone through the main office to make sure the vehicle could be left in Calgary. This was suggested by Tony prior to us going to his location. When we got to Calgary we were told the truck had to be returned to Kamloops because the wrong form was used. The managers in BC and Calgary both said there is nothing they could do. I had to pay a 900 dollar plus drop off fee. This is absolutely atrocious on U-Haul’s part and this is shameful. We’re seniors and drove to Calgary in good faith and now feel like we’ve been robbed! Absolutely terrible that this has happened!!
