Very ghetto experience. Over charged by $70 for “fuel”. Go around the corner to a different place and have a much better experience! When arriving there are no signs telling where to park or anything like that. When I got inside I was greeted by an older woman with grills that was blasting music at 9am. As I was checking out she was explaining the expectations. I told her I rent trucks consistently and understand. She then began telling stories about other customers complaining and how they don’t care if you don’t have all the proof. Then told me I better get pictures. I asked her where to drop off the truck when finished and she tried to convince me to download the app and turn it in myself. I explained the app is always messing up and I’ll just bring it back where it’s parked now. As she handed me the key she sarcastically said, “since you’re an expert I’m sure you can find your truck on your own”. I just said yes and grabbed the key to walk out. When I got outside, I told my friend I know there’s gonna be an issue with this place. Sure enough, I drive the truck 10-15 miles and drop it off. I take a picture of my gas gauge and return the keys. Sure enough, about 20 mins later I get my emailed receipt. Charged $70 for fuel! The worst part is, I didn’t even drive far enough to use that much fuel. I had to call customer service and be on the phone for about 30 mins before I could get my refund.

The only thing there was peanuts on floor behind the Drivers seat then that it was clean, thank you.
MICHAEL LI have used U-Haul in the past and I must say that this is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with the company. Mom‘s attic leaked during the trip from a strong rainstorm and water came into the cargo area and damaged a mirror. I looked up the safemove insurance policy to see if anything could be reimbursed. It said it was not covered due to not being caused by a collision or accident. I think I will be using Penske or other rentals in the future.
Ryan RIf returning equipment after hours, maybe it's important to mention the $20 fee. Not cool. Otherwise, Mail Center is usually the best.
