I have used U-Haul in the past and I must say that this is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with the company. Mom‘s attic leaked during the trip from a strong rainstorm and water came into the cargo area and damaged a mirror. I looked up the safemove insurance policy to see if anything could be reimbursed. It said it was not covered due to not being caused by a collision or accident. I think I will be using Penske or other rentals in the future.

If returning equipment after hours, maybe it's important to mention the $20 fee. Not cool. Otherwise, Mail Center is usually the best.

THOMAS MNo personnel available due to returning truck after hours. A bit confusing as to where the key drop box was and where to actually park the vehicle. Can't adequately answer personnel being helpful or recommendation of location as each location drop off will be different for others.
HAYRETTIN DI opted out of damage insurance but was charged anyway and had to make two calls to get it refunded.
