There was a bar code to scan to return the key. It kept leading to a webpage not found message. More time on the phone, more delay, then being notified that I would be charged extra for not using an app that didn't work. Probably the most frustrating experience I have ever had, and all at way more expense than I signed up for.

The U-Haul truck itself was great and perfect for what I needed. The U-Haul app, however, did not work. When I opened the app to start my return, it would close itself within 3 seconds. I had to use the website which was fine, but took longer. It may have just been a weird glitch, but I tried for over an hour and wasn’t able to get the app to stay open for more than 3 seconds.
