Overall experience was great until the day after I returned the trailer I was charged an extra $21.20 fee for returning the trailer after hours. I was told that I could drop off the trailer any time after closing by two people that work there and they never mentioned anything about an extra fee if you don't check the equipment in on there website after hours. I had no knowledge of this because if I did, i would have definitely checked it in on there website to avoid the fee. I feel like i was scammed into this fee and it seems like they do that a lot hoping that no one would check there final receipt. When I called one of the employees the next day, he was very rude to me on the phone saying that it was my fault and that I should of read the fine print on the contract. I end up having to call UHAUL customer service and she was a lot nicer to me but gave me a little hard time getting a refund. I did end up getting a refund a few days later although it wasn't a pleasant experience to say the least. Overall it was very poor customer service at this location and they should make it more clear about this extra fee to customers.

Check brakes on trailer more often, my brakes overheat near Pennsylvania and I only carry one bedroom set.

It would be a nice perk if they had a small gas allowance. I only used $10 worth of gas, gage was actually still on Full. Would be nice if they waived the gas top off for short distance customers.

Reimburse gas, and days not used. As in my case i returned the truck 3/4 full and only used it for one day. But was charged for 2 days

In my last two visits that I've had at the Kingston establishment, let it be known by the American lady with green hair and blonde man in specifically the service was not good. The manner in which I was treated as client was not pleasant. I feel mistreated and humiliated. It seemed passive aggressive and not right. If an employee may have a personal problem, its not correct to take it out on customers, or if by chance may be racist it's not correct. I was not alone on both instances and were witnesses. I do not plan on returning to this Uhaul location again.

I needed to extend my rental multiple times. As a result, compounded charges were initiated against my debit card on a daily basis. Through no fault of my own, the location was unable to process the final charges upon return of the vehicle. I was advised the manager would call me the next business day to resolve the matter. After several days and no call from the manager, I phoned the location only to be advised the card was still being declined and I needed to contact my bank to release the holds. Being a banker and understanding card processing, a customer cannot call to have a hold released. Card sponsors such as VISA or MasterCard require a card issuer to accept responsibility for the merchant payment. In this case, it was up to UHaul to initiate the request to my bank to release all the compounding holds and process the final charge. The location did nothing to assist me in resolving this matter. To add to the ridiculous matter, I then received an email notification indicating if my account was not paid immediately, it would be sourced out for collections. Seriously! I tried to pay numerous times and the location was unable or unwilling to assist. UHaul=Nightmare! Next time, I'll go Budget!

Maybe walk the customer out to the vehicle they are renting. It was dark when we picked up the truck. All we were told was row c truck 1. Parking lot should have better lighting.

All the employees at this U-Haul were friendly and very helpful. They made sure all my questions were answered. The vehicle was clean and in good condition. The store was well stocked with moving supplies I needed.

We made reservations to pick up the u haul it at Louâ€™s in Plains, Pa. no one was there and we called the number on the door. No one responded. We called u haul it and were able to get a truck a few miles away. That was great that we could get one, but created quite a stress on our very tight schedule. Cost us one hour delay.
