Maybe be spelling your customers name correctly and being much more clearer on deposit details over the phone and state no cash deposits on your aderversments... before they arrive all happy and eager to go at your store, would greatly improve things? Was not happy being left to discover that all planned out things have to suddenly change because of your no cash deposit policy. The effects to all of ones moving plans are how they become spoiled, were very inconvenient, frustrating and indeed time consuming. Secondly my having to depend on reluctant family members at moments notice, needing them to entrust me with their credit card info to me was a bit unnerving, completely embarrassing and slightly damaging to close relative relation ships. The choice I make to not hold a "major credit card" (even though my bank card says VISA and held more than any deposit should need on it) just to earn credit card companies free money, or legally steal my money... Is not something that I should be penalised by regection for. Harshly turning away a solid customer who is intended of doing only good business with people who are dependable, is not only stupid, but downright bias and completely unfare... especially when $400 was declined by your associate after being informed upon signage that my moving day was crushed and I am nothing but a P.O.S. only because I choose to not do business with creditors who are envolved with equafax. "They are not gods voice, often completely 100% wrong with only one sided accusations and are one thing that I despise more than anything". My rental history should be what I am judged upon in order for you people to trust me, without some fancy piece of plastic that anyone can obtain after every 7 years no matter what kind of people they are. You used to hold my cash until the well maintained, properly operated and respectably cleaned equipment was returned to you as planned and this complaint is ment to make someone out there aware that bad things are happening to good people, because of doing business with them... The mobile pickup feature was worse than useless. It said I had an outstanding item in my account and gave me a number to call. I was answered by someone in USA who said I had a large outstanding balance for a cargo van in Texas, where I've never been. They said they could not release the truck to me. The advice was to open an identity theft claim with police, which would have wasted my day when my family had to move. I finally just went inside the store and I was able to get my truck without any issues, so there is a Camada-US link that needs to be broken in U-Haul's backend database or something. U-Haul wasted my time and caused me undue anxiety, not a pleasant experience at all.

I am very disappointed with this uhaul service because I made a reservation a 15' moving truck to use for 24 hours starting at Friday 30th at 5:30pm. When I arrived on U-Haul store the attendant said that I should to return the truck on Saturday 31th at 8am and not 5:30pm. I told him that my reservation was for 24 hours and he just said that that truck was reserved to another costumer on Saturday 31th at 8am and for this reason I had to return the truck at 8am. I am very disappointed. I had to move out on the overnight and I work on Saturday. U-haul just doesn't care about the costumer. They want only to make money. I do not recommend this service to anyone.

Make sure bathroom is clean, make sure equipment doesn't give cause to question whether or not it will make it! Very poor wheel alignment and ride handling ! Scary bad truck!
Your store manager was very rude to me and I accidentally filled the vehicle I rented from half to full and I wasn't supposed to. I spent 50 dollars of my own money doing so and she said she couldn't credit me back which I thought was not very proper since this was an honest mistake I made. The vehicle was given to me at half full and I thought you always return them with a full tank of gas. She did not explain this very well and she is your store manager at your Charles and Victoria location in Kitchener Ontario. She could of even gave me a credit for next time or a store credit. I will be getting a hold of customer service with your corporate headquarters and I will not be using uhaul'S services in the future. This is not how you treat a paying customer and my mom was also there with me to see it first hand. Thank you for your time.
My contract said 150 miles included in the base fee and when I returned the van they claimed it was 150 kilometers and of course they charged me mileage fees. This was at the Charles St. location in Kitchener, Ontario. When I said I wanted to talk to a manager, the lady said call the company...its not my problem.

The Charles st. location was great and solved my problem. THE 585 COLBY LOCATION IN WATERLOO HAD A TERRIBLE SERVICE. I MADE MY RESERVATION FOR A 20'TRUCK THERE 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE AND WHEN I GOT THERE FOR PICK UP, THERE WAS NO TRUCK AVAILABLE. THE 2 EMPLOYEES IN THERE (OCT 24th MORNING) LIED TO ME AND SAID MY RESERVATION HAD CHANGED AN MY TRUCK WAS AT THE CHARLES ST LOCATION. THE TRUCK WAS NOT THERE.
Website is a minefield of overselling. Also, fill to full is more preferred than fill to half at return. Storefront of blankets and cart locked inside truck occupied critical space we needed for use. Had I known this was going to be pushed on us to have to manage this, I never would have rented from Uhaul. Very dumb idea.
I find your web site extremely annoying to use. Your technique of making me go through multiple pages of you trying to to upsell me on all kinds of stuff I have no interest in is confusing and a waste of my time. I understand your need to upsell but as it is now, this is enough to make me go elsewhere for my rentals. Also, the process of confirming the order is unclear and broken in spots. Fix it.
The Charles Street location in Kitchener is professional and honest. I always try to use this particular location when doing a move.
the reservation, pick-up and drop-off process went very well and very quick & simple. Only suggestion is that you, as the renter, prepare beforehand a close to accurate travel amount (mileage & time) as this is charged beforehand to your credit card.
-Communicate with customers. -Provide a spot for customers to park while using rental. -Ensure truck gas tank is full of gas when customer picks up truck and have customer return it full.
Tight area where they wanted me to put the trailer. The employee offered no signaling or direction to how far back to go when he was standing right there. When you are backing a trailer up to a building and you cannot back straight (jackknife) in it is very difficult to see where the end of your trailer. Luckily, I stopped in time not to hit the guardrail. They should be more helpful in that regard.
