Terrible experiance over all 2 canceled reservations took 8 hours to get a truck pickup, drop off location was with no employees no one showed after more than a hour, just horrible.

I did run into a problem with the hook-up for the lights. As I was driving (into the night) it would disconnect. Then in the long run it was damaged and I did not have lights on my transporter as I traveled down the road. Not very good. A safety hazard.

They were great to work with. When we found out we didn’t have a big enough truck, they worked to get us one and let us unload the already full truck into the new bigger truck. They even gave us a dolly to help move everything over. We were very pleased. We had to drive the truck over 200 miles and it drove great and we had zero problems.

It was very convenient to drop off at this location in Kyle, near where we were moving our furniture to. They were very nice about our extending our days of usage, and helped us through the problems we had with the door of the truck not closing properly. They were very nice and professional!

So when I arrived everything was fine. Before I pulled off I checked the lights on the trailer. Three of them were buster or burned out. I went inside and asked for another trailer. Instantly I became an inconvenience. I went back outside and the lady hooked up another trailer. Guess what? It had a burned out light on the license plate. A gentleman that was working that day came outside and seemed really annoyed with me. He let me know that I wouldn't get stopped by police and if I did Uhaul would pay the ticket. Yeah Right!! I have been stopped before because I had non-functioning lights on a Uhaul trailer. Guess who paid the ticket? I did. The gentleman I dealt with unhooked the trailer off my hitch and tossed the trailer across the yard. It slammed into another trailer and caused damage to the rear. He then looked at me and stated, "We are not responsible for maintaining these trailers. Uhaul is. Very unprofessional and a big lack of ownership on this guys part. I would avoid this place. When I arrived to drop the trailer back off the gentleman was clearly handling personal business on the phone. I had to stand there for 5+ minutes until he was done. Very poor customer service.

It was they were doing me a favor by renting. I booked on-line and expected to pick up my truck via a lock box. Well, there was no lock box and I called the number on the website. He had to call the manager and by the time he was able to get back to me it was 7:55. The person I talked with from the website said someone was already there. When I knocked on the door, and finally got someone to open the door, the first thing they said was, “we don’t open until 8”. Duh, it’s 7:55 and I explained about what had happened and it was like I shot the Pope. To say they were not customer-friendly would be an understatement. In addition, it took about 30 min to check the truck in. Evidently someone had put in the wrong mileage and I returned it with less miles on it than when I checked it out. It was pretty sad watching the lady try to figure it out. You guys should have paid me to rent the truck. It was not a pleasant experience.

trailer had been used to haul drywall was not clean when returned or cleaned by rental company. They offered to sweep out trailer but that should be done prior to my arrival.

The towing trailer didn’t fit my vehicle , it was to small ,to rent the towing trailer you have to give specific information about the vehicle first. After trying to load the vehicle we gave up and I called the place we rented from to see if we could return it for a refund , we called several times with no answer and it wasn’t even their closing time yet . Drove over there 5 min after closing time , no one in site . Went the next day to turn in keys and manger said he had no record of us calling .

All of your stores should be like these two. Have used the I 10 Katy location several times and it is the worst, its a shame a company store has such lousy personnel . Thank goodness the smaller places have a handle on how to treat customers.

Online billing was different from actual insure bill. Nothing had changed as far as rental dates or equipment. Online bill was 265, in store bill was 569. Never using Uhaul. Store said online bill was a estimate. When I booked Uhaul pulled the money as a hold on that amount which was fine but to change the amount for the rental in the store.

For our 1500 + mile trip from TX to ND, we were promised a newer truck to handle the load, the iced roads, and the length of the trip. Instead we were given an older truck with over 71000 miles on it. After it was loaded, it was clear it was not safe. They closed early or did not answer their phones. We ended up returning it and renting another from another location. One week later when I called to have a conversation with the manager or owner to discuss what had happened, I was hung up on by the clerk. Very poor service. Please do not trust this location. UHaul should not allow this place to serve as a location for them.
