The keys were not in a lock box for pickup. The attendant gave me the keys because they were still open during business hours. I wouldn't have been able to pick up the keys had they forgotten to put them in a lock box.


There are not enough great things to say about the superior customer service we received from the staff member that assisted us. She was simply amazing! From making a call to confirm the reservation, to being patient when we were running a little behind, to explaining the insurance, to helping hook up the trailer, down to making sure we knew exactly how to check back in since we were returning after hours. Also, super kudos for her social distancing and COVID-19 protection and explaining what she was doing for our safety. This was simply one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had! I would definitely highly, highly recommend this business for any of your moving or storage needs! Give them your business!!!!

Additional charge of $20 when U haul was returned in 8 hours ... this facility was closed and I have never been charged an after hours fee . Will no longer use u haul for rentals.

I brought the trailer back right after close at about 5:30. I left it clean with the dolly inside. When I got the bill I was charged for two days rental, late charge, cleaning fee and others. I am going to protest this charge with the bank.

I returned the trailer on the 9th at 2:19pm to the location listed on the contract. The business was not open, so I left a message letting them know I returned the trailer and where it was. I have time stamped pictures showing I left the trailer and when I left it. I also have phone records showing I called the place. I called the business again on the 10th during their business hours, but again they did not answer. I got a $20 bill for "After hour service fee". I clearly dropped it off early and have phone records and time stamped pictures to show that. If this was because I returned the trailer when they were not open, my contract said I needed to have the trailer back on the 10th at 8:00am. The business doesn't open till 9:00am on the 10th. So, there is no way I could have avoided that $20 fee. This fee needs to be credited back to my card. I have already emailed someone about this and haven't heard from them. Horrible experience on both ends.

The location I booked my rental through originally had stopped carrying U-Haul trailers by the time I went to pick up the rental a week or two later. Would have been nice to be informed of this prior to showing up there. Also was told the wrong ball hitch size so had to run back home for a replacement.

They should tell your customers that the equipment has to be return by a specific time. When I reserve a trailer online and it just says that it is due back on a certain date with no time and then on that date I get a text saying that I have 45 minutes to return in the trailer or I'm going to be charged for an extra day is bullshit. You should let your customers know when they pick up the equipment that it needs to be returned by a certain time.

I was not happy with the process for returning the truck ar all. It would be reason to consider another truck rental company in the future. This would be disappointing since I've used UHAUL for trucks at least 10 times over the past 3 years and rental 4 storage units. I just felt nickel and domed by the "convenience fee" of having a live person to check the truck in. I would have brought it back the next day if I knew I'd be checking it in on your dark parking lot. By the way, it's amazing technology, but I cannot believe you can do this much with technology, but you dont offer a Reawrds or frequent rental program. This is no reflection on Anytime Storage. They are all good people.

There was plenty of space to easily park. The key drop was easy to locate. I called the number when I arrived and confirmed with the operator that I was turning the truck in. I made sure it had the return amount of fuel. It was a very easy check in process and was the smoothest rental I have done!

The rental was missing both dollies and the furniture pads. We spent an hour going to rent some after we picked up the truck. We had to pay an extra $23.00 in dolly rentals because they weren't in the truck. When we spoke to customer service, they advised us we could pick up the dolly and furniture pads at another location 16 miles away. We lost time and money with U-Haul not being prepared for our move which was on a tight schedule. I feel this should have been taken care of since we reserved the truck and supplies 3 days in advance. We had to wait until 9 am to talk to customer service, which was an hour past our pickup time. Giving us a late start and no supplies made our moving experience with U-Haul disappointing. If you are going to put a hold on my credit card, then I feel like the items should have been there. I wish our experience would have been better.
