TIMOTHY KThe first trailer I connected too had a wiring issue which was diagnosed quickly. The second trailer had no issues at all.
JEROME SWe declined insurance coverage when we reserved the trailer on-line. After picking up the trailer and already gone from the location we noticed there was a charge for insurance coverage. We called within 5 minutes to get the coverage removed. Nobody answered the phone. Approximately an hour later we called, no answer again, and left message requesting the insurance coverage be removed. We decided to keep the trailer an extra day. They again did not answer the phone again, so we made the request on-line. When we returned the trailer and inquired about the removal of the insurance we were told that we had to pay the insurance coverage. The man we talked to was rude, not a person you'd want representing the U-Haul name. Total charges were $160.91 for 4 days and $40.22 for the additional day. We've rented u-hauls trailers in the past from several other locations (we're retired military, we move a lot) and have not ever had a problem. If this is not resolved, we will be going to Penske from now on.
