Colleen AYou advertise $19:95 to rent, which is awesome, and I rented a small truck. I drove to the dump a total of approx 30 miles round trip. I get the bill, it 70.00!! You charged a dollar per mile!! You might want to tell the person renting this price. I mean, cmon, a dollar a mile. I am glad I didn’t drive it 60 miles! Person who rented me the truck asked me, sir, how far are you taking it, I said, not far just to the landfill. He never mentioned the mileage rate! 70 bucks for a quick trip to the landfill with a small truck, one where you have signs all over it that say, rent me 19.95, but you never post the horrific mileage rate. Never will I rent from you again. So disappointing!
Nicholas MAn employee of the store called me asking for a credit card for payment because he believed I paid cash for a rental? Stating I was “in the red with uhaul” Well there was a deposit placed on my card. When I pick these trailers up as I rent quite often from uhaul the employees never get a card from me. Because I put one on file to reserve the trailers. I don’t need the store calling me for money, or a card when I have a contract with uhaul, not them. Uhaul has my number and I would prefer to deal with uhaul directly, so I don’t get inaccurate information like not having a card on file.
Zachary MI was given the wrong trailer for the rental agreement rushed through the process told I’ll email you all the paperwork. See you later. Then when I went to drop off the equipment, it was a huge hassle because the trailer was the wrong number. I’ve had excellent service with off-the-wall adventures before, but having the wrong trailer caused a huge headache when I went to drop it off, but Christie with Customer Service straightened it all out.
