All signage on the lot indicates to pull forward towards the building for equipment return. After pulling in, the staff member requested I back the truck and tow dolley into another lot. This goes against U-Hauls advice to not back up a tow dolley. The staff said I personally had to back up the tow dolley before they would accept liability as "backing up a tow dolley is more difficult and may lead to damage."

Currently, the access street (Wadsworth Boulevard) is under construction, so the only way to get into the parking lot is from the south. Store operators are making the best of a difficult situation. I accidentally snapped the zip-tie holding the two-wheeled dolly, even though I had no intention of using the device. I think you should consider making the dolly and blanket packages optional for the customer, rather than putting them in the way at the back of the truck.

The website could use work to explain what each box regarding the reservation means. While at the location they were telling me to checkin via website. Customer service at the counter is most valuable, especially if the website is not adequate. Equipment was fine. Trucks with Ramos should include a dollie as part of rental equipment for $5-$10 more. Make it a rental option to support your customers! Thank you!

Customer service was pretty terrible at the location. While the rental process was fine, the lady at the front was very uncooperative when I came to return. Even though the location was open, she refused to allow me to complete the return process and insisted that I use the online application. When I went to use the online app, the option to complete the return process was not available. I will not be using this location again.

Very professional and knowledgeable employees, clean vehicle, great experience. My only suggestion would be regarding the placement of packing boxes. When I entered the facility I had to walk half the length of the store to get around the packing boxes to get back to the counter. That is, there wasn't a direct path from the door to the counter.

The price difference from expected to actual was very large and I felt lie to. I was not mentally prepared to pay $160 when the price I was first given was $60. The amount of inaccuracy does not give me any faith in the competence of the company.

This experience sucked. I selected a preferred location with the understanding that it could change when they called me 24 hours before the rental. 24 hours prior came and went. In fact, two hours before the rental time, I finally received a phone call from Uhaul telling me that my preferred location did not have the trailer I needed. They sent me to another location about 20 minutes farther away (with traffic).' I called that location to confirm they had the trailer and asked them if I could pick it up an hour early. Had I received the phone confirmation more than two hours prior, I would have been able to make arrangements to pick it up as scheduled. Anyway, the location said no problem. So, I headed that way with my two screaming children expecting to grab this trailer and get them home for dinner. When I got there, I was told that "someone should have called you". Apparently, that trailer was broken, and I needed to go to another location 15 minutes farther away (with traffic). Of course nobody called me to tell me this, just like nobody called the day before. Again, anyway, I loaded up the kids and proceeded to drive now, in total, 30 minutes (one way) farther than my original preferred location. When I got to this third location, the computer system was broken, and they couldn't check out the trailer. The woman who helped me was very apologetic and nice, but this was incredibly frustrating which was only made worse by the fact that my poor children were tired and hungry. Anyway, not likely to rent again. I hope it was convenient for you. I certainly wasn't a customer first experience for me.

Nothing really. There was no wait time at either pick up or drop off. The internet reservation process was really easy. Staff was very helpful. The pick up location was very close to my home. As I drove less than anticipated, my total was the same, less than anticipated, which was a nice bonus.

Did not see the statement about the water leak to the truck until AFTER I had signed for the truck. Seems like that should have been pointed out before.

It was extremely too expensive ! Also I don't get why you charge mileage when I have to return the gas tank to the starting level In addition to the false advertising of 29.99 for an in town move but then fees add up to 50 extra dollars. Felt like I got scammed. I will not be returning .

Staff was rude, unwilling to help and easily distracted. What is the point of completing the online reservation if it still takes you over 45 minutes to get people out the door? AND, that's after I was the first person in line on a Sunday morning. I will never rent from this location again. Tell your staff to wake up and do their job!

So I made the long drive from Canyon County to Lakewood and came in about 100 miles less than I what I paid for. I called the location before I turned in the truck and asked the woman working if in those situations they give you money back... because if you go over... they charge you. The woman was rude and had a nasty attitude. When I arrived Friday morning the 7th of July. I got to meet the nasty woman that I talked with. As I arrived... I noticed that a previous driver had left a set of keys under the seat. Some of them looked like they could be very important. I got out of the truck and went to talk with the woman who was working to give her the keys in hopes that she would return them to their rightful owner. Her response was "Papers". Before she could discuss anything with me... she had to see the papers. I showed her the papers and then proceeded about the keys and how someone might be in search of them. This did not concern the woman at all. The only thing that concerned her was telling me to move out of the way so that she could park the Uhaul. It was one of the most disrespectful moments of my life. I shared with her that her actions were rude and wrong on so many accounts. I left that location furious. I am familiar with that area and it's a little rough... maybe some of that neighbor energy has taken a toll on her. But that's no way to act and run a buissnes. I'm currently at a loss of how I should feel about this whole experience. I invested a good amount of my savings in order to start a new life and now I have the headache of what am I to do about the things left in storage. I should have been able to finish my contract with storage by getting all of my things out. Alright... now you have read my situation... what do you think is the respectable thing to do moving forward.

I called ahead and scheduled a trailer pickup for Saturday July 15th at 10am. It was booked and confirmed with an employee online. the morning of July 15th I did the pre-check in to save time. When I got to the store to pickup the trailer there was NO trailer there. The employee's were less than helpful. They simply said. "I do not know what happened, we do not have a trailer here". Zero customer service. I then had to call back in to Uhaul and adjust my moving plans to book a new trailer pickup for the 16th at 1pm. I then had to pay full price on Sunday. I was offered no discount due to the error.
