The app didn’t let me check in properly and the lady for the gas station didn’t really know and took 30 min to get my key after the time so I lost 30 min of my time

It took me over an hour to pick up my rental truck because the automated process was so terrible. I added an additional driver, who could not actually access the reservation or do anything without the primary driver. The system asks for a reference to contact. This is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. You contacted my personal contact to see if they think I should be able to rent the truck? Next you pay and a code is going to come up. Nope. No code. No chat, no customer support. No solution at all. Eventually we got a human from the inside of the gas station. She escalated to management and after 90 minutes of nonsense, we had the keys.
JENNIFER Pfor check in via the app, it was not a fast process. I felt extremely unsafe standing at the edge of a gas station entering info on my phone like my family contact verification, drivers license. I should be aware of my surroundings, not focused on the phone check in for so long. why cant this be entered ahead of time so the location check in is just a few clicks? the lock box was corroded and I needed to get the attendants help to open it

GLENDA MFirst pick-up location, UHAL would not start. Awful customer service to get a different truck. Get another location and refused to give keys to the truck because they were not the original pick-up location. This process took several hours, many customer service calls that were unhelpful, and was the worst Uhal experience.
