Unprofessional, put me almost an hour behind on my move because they didn’t know how to get the process going. Said to go sit in my car and wait for a phone call, 20 minutes later I still hadn’t received a call, I went back in and she gave the lady who was supposed to call me the wrong number. Didn’t come out and check the vehicle with me, didn’t give me the key to unlock, she ended up sending out a homeless customer to retrieve it. I was like I will directly give it back myself. It was just one thing after another

How U-Haul Reviews WorkWe were given one key but turned out the truck had a lock. We drove 2 hours to find we couldn't open the truck gate bc the guy rented us a truck with a random lock, locking the door! Luckily someone at a uhaul we drove to had bolt cutters but this delayed us an hour and I was late to a concert I invited people to. This created CHAOS
AGATHA SThe back of the uhaul was obviously the party spot for someone. It reeked of pot, there were half eaten Chinese food containers with the food spilled out, there was an empty bottle of whiskey fireball, marijuana cigarette butts everywhere, a coke can that had been smoked out of, and an honest to god silver crack pipe. We picked this uhaul up to help my elderly father update his box springs. We had to clean the whole bed out and it still reeked of marijuana. It was unacceptable. Not at all what I expect from UHaul. We complained to the gas station employee but I'm sure she had no power to help us.

ruth cIt took me over an hour to pick up my rental truck because the automated process was so terrible. I added an additional driver, who could not actually access the reservation or do anything without the primary driver. The system asks for a reference to contact. This is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. You contacted my personal contact to see if they think I should be able to rent the truck? Next you pay and a code is going to come up. Nope. No code. No chat, no customer support. No solution at all. Eventually we got a human from the inside of the gas station. She escalated to management and after 90 minutes of nonsense, we had the keys.
