This location was a bit sketchy and could have been better maintained. The equipment was fine but the store itself was not. It was dark and kind of uncomfortable. I know it was the holidays but the associate was also not the most welcoming and it was a very awkward experience.

Left mirror was very loose, needing constant adjustment. The online check-out and -in process is logical and completely annoying. I hated it.

Our paperwork had the incorrect mileage. The attendant changed it by hand with a red pen from 7/8 to 3/8. When we returned the truck, the gas gauge was just below 1/2 tank. I got the bill and was charged $19 for gas. Either the gauge is faulty, or the person who checked in our truck doesn’t know how to read the gauge. Take a picture so you don’t get ripped off. Finally, the truck didn’t even have a ramp, but we didn’t notice until it was too late. We’ll never rent from this location again.

There was an issue with U-Haul company itself not the site. They wanted me to allow them to install an app on my telephone that access my GPS. I said no. It would no longer allow me to continue with the online registration pick up process. After speaking with U-Haul on the phone they told me if I did not download this app I could not use the truck. Being unable to download the app after saying no to the app request the man at the site had to override to allow me to rent the truck on his computer. He was extremely kind and helpful. The U-Haul representative on the phone was not kind and was not helpful and if that is who I had to deal with in person I would not ever again.

We were given a car hauler with a flat tire which we didn’t know until we loaded the hauler that the tire was flat so we were stuck 2 hours from home and waiting over an hour for roadside assistance with a screaming 1 year old in the back. We ended up just leaving and putting air in the tire every so often just to get home. I will be calling customer service regarding this issue.

Customer service training. The guy I spoke with, Jesus Perkins, was lacking in basic customer service etiquette. His behavior was hostile and threatening. He told me with an aggressive voice,"I own this truck and if you damage it in anyway I, not uhaul, I will be coming after you and I will find you." I could have called the authorities after a threat like that but decided not to due to his scrony non-threatening physique. I will not be returning here nor recommending anybody to this place.

The truck itself, the price and anything else was perfect. My complaint is with the agent that the store had working that day. Even though I used the self serve option, I saw someone was in the office, so I walked in as my first instinct. He was on the phone, so I waited and since he was on the phone for a few, I walked back out and figured out how to help myself. I guess I left the office door slightly open, and the agent SLAMMED and I mean LOUDLY SLAMMED the door behind me and my brother. I had to calm my brother down to not confront him. We never even spoke with him so I do not see the reason for having to slam the door behind us like we are there to bother him. We are paying customers and should not be treated that way. I hope you get a chance to review any videos so you can see his level of rudeness. I will not be coming back to this location or referring any friends to you.

Customer service line should notify a customer that when they are reserving a Truck for the day that it isn't 6 hrs .... when picked truck at location was told I had to have back by 2:30 ! Not a great way to treat a customer !

Well my first drop off place was on 10th street in lancaster and it no longer excepted uhaul trucks and i believe your company should have updates on all places. So i had to find another uhaul center and walk home in a new city i wasnt aware of. So please make sure certain drop offs are still available.
