Again, I was told 3 different locations to return the truck to, that's not right. Once you give the customer a return location, that should be it. The return location got changed 2 more times, and if you are going to have the customer go even further out of their way to deliver the truck to where you want it, you should be discounting their rental price in some way. I asked about this when I returned the truck, and they took my phone number and said the "manager" would call me about it the next day, and he never did. So, I'm not real happy with U-Haul right now!

Truck was old, high mileage and the seat belt warning chimed the whole time driving even with seat belts on. Gas mileage for the truck was horrible. I drove 20 miles and had to put four gallons in it to get back to were I picked it up. The hood on the truck popped open going down the road, had to pull over to shut it.

U Haul needs to charge one price for comparable use. Equipment was a rusty, embarrassing pile of sqeaking junk. Only good thing to say about the trailer is it held together from CA to TX this time unlike the last one i rented.

I made a reservation for 24hrs. open trailer and ended up using it for only 12 I got charged $15 additional to my rental agreement for returning the open trailer durty...(something wet maybe from the street that maybe we had stepped on I don't know) I thought it was not a big deal since my husband had to sweep it before we used it because there was dust/dirt on it.. there was no paper, trash or anything big to have been charged $15 ?? I always come to this location for my rentals and is the first time I was told the trailers needed to be cleaned up before returning it. My thought is to advise customers at pickup time to wipe clean the trailers before they are returned or will get fine $15 Besides that I think customer service was great ..

Why am I being charged for 3 days when I returned it the same day I am not going to pay the extra money since I didn’t use the trailer for more than the 6 hours that it was rented for

I Was extremely unhappy with my u-haul rental. The dashboard lights did not work at all unless I had the headlights on high beam when I put my lights for regular the dashboard lights went all black so I could not see how fast I was driving at night. The seat belt Warning signal kept going off even though everyone had seatbelts on inside the cab of the truck it was annoying and distracting. The dome light in the back of the truck would not come on even though all directions were followed the only time the dome light in the back of the truck went on was when I put the key in the Ignition and turned the truck on. That is ridiculous and we could not unpack our truck in the evening hours when it got dark. This postponed our ability to continue our moving process in a timely fashion. Although this might seem petty to the you haul corporation I find this to be unsatisfact'ry especially for people who are on a budget and are trying to afford the best availability for moving and the vehicle was not in 100% working order. I have moved with you haul many times and have never been so on satisfied and angry .

I was very disappointed to have been sent to a closed location on the morning of my pick up. The female who answered my call (she had what sounded like a Caribbean accent) for assistance was rude, did not answer the call to include providing her name and when asked she got sassy with “HOW may I help you?!” After advising of my situation, she placed me on an immediate hold without warning and ultimately was assisted by the gentleman who located equipment for me at the main branch in Lancaster. I was not alerted to being transferred! This female lacks the basic customer service skills required for the job md should NOT be permitted to answer the phone. She needs intense customer service training and an English course would be helpful too!

Lots of bumps and bruises on the truck. But worked fine.Feel very messed up. Reserved a !5 foot truck and a trailer for a one way to Oceanside, Ca from Canyon Country, Ca. one week in advance. Got a call on Friday morning, (one day before pickup) and told that we would have to drive 40 miles away to Lancaster to get a 20 foot truck. no 15 available after all. And then drive to another location to get the trailer. Really? Time and gas my friends, my time and more money for gas. Evidently your definition of reservation and my definition are two different things. Is anyone going to give me 80 miles worth of driving's time and gas back? Steve Brodsky 678-794-4336

The left rear mount for the anti-sway bar of the rear suspension was disconnected from the frame and hanging down. i pointed this out to the attendant when returning the truck. Except for the .above, service was good and the truck performed well.
