The worst experience of my life!!!!. Stay away from Mike's tires location (santa Clarita, CA). And the Sierra hwy location (santa clarita).. The GM Matt is completely useless... don't care about customers and employees in both locations it will make you fill like you are no body... I reserve a Truck 1 week before pickup and with all that time they manage to screwed up.. The girl at Mike's tires is terrible.. no empathy at all for customer.. and she denied to help me!!! Saying that I need to wait for the guy Matt that was 1 hour away.. So I left.. I didn't wait any more.. it was already 2 hours waiting for the truck... And here is the worst part.... after I left.. the girl at Mike Tires run my credit card and charge me for the full amount!!!!!!! After she told me that I will not get the truck from her... So.. that is stilling... she took my money with out my consent... Please do your self a favor and don't go there.. Penske is a 2min from there and in less than 10 minutes I had a truck with employees that treat you fair and with a smile in the face.. If you are in Santa Clarita go to PENSKE no to this terrible place.. stay away like if is poison..

The reps that assisted me were very friendly, ready to help and made my first time experience a pleasant one. Savannah assisted me in hooking up the trailer to my SUV. It was not clear on my reservation that I was paying a full day's rental for a vehicle that was available less than five hours. I read my email reminders as the truck was available for pickup between 1pm and 6pm, not that the truck was due back at 6pm. Better communication is expected from this company. A prorated amount would be nice or free use of a dolly if the rental is less than 12 hours.

Kaden was the only guy working the counter AND working with multiple customers simultaneously. He immediately acknowledged us, told us he would be with us in just a few moments and held to his word. He ran to meet us at our car, gave very clear instructions and even offered to run in and get our receipt and bring it to the car. He ran everywhere, but was cool, calm and collected when dealing with us. We were so so so impressed with Kaden's excellent service. We thanked him for his efforts and said he should be recognized as a model employee for U-Haul? So I am personally asking this U-Haul location and the National U-Haul Corporation to congratulate Kaden as an outstanding customer service representative for U-Haul under the difficult circumstances of multi-tasking several customers at once.

The location wasn't really a problem but it wasn't the location I requested. I got a call just a couple of hours from my reservation saying the equipment I had reserved wasn't available and I had to settle for a smaller truck at a location that was further away. Since I needed to get stuff done I really had no choice. The truck was okay although the lock provided was cut halfway on the shackle and wouldn't actually lock, I didn't need it but wanted to point it out. I also did not like that the dolly I didn't rent but was in the truck tied down so that if you used it you would be charged was in the way so I really had no choice but to use it. It wasn't expensive but it was annoying that I had to use it to take advantage of the size.

Train more employees to work registers. Having 4 employees and only one person handling customers at a register is not efficient.

The service was beyond poor the truck that I rented and paid for was in poor condition the brake light was on and buzzer ringing for 50 miles of drive time and the AC didn't work and mind you it was 105 out side that day I spent over 160 dollars just for a kid to tell Mr thank you for paying $14.00 for insurance because he saw a scratch on the side truck that could not be verified by the other person that never even gave me the paper to mark which damage was on the truck in the first place this should have been a free rental....I have used Uhaul for many years and from now on I will find something else .....not worth my money it time ....sad to say employees and staff in Lancaster are rude and not helpful at all .....start over with this location

was overcharged and had a unpleasant experience with the mistakes that were made with my online reservation and onsite service. I placed a reservation online at a different U-Haul location that was closer to my home for 7am pickup for a 5x8 trailer to help move small generator for my father. I arrive at 7:10am and was told that they did not have 5x8 trailer for me and that one he did have was already reserved by someone else. Was told that that U-haul on Sierra HWY had 5 of them and he would transfer my reservation to them, ok. So i get there, handle the paper work which already did online express check-in but not help at all. I proceed to get the trailer and they give me the wrong one, a 4x7, told the guy it was supped to be a 5x8. Spoke with the front counter guy about the mistake that i reserved a 5x8, not a 4x7. He replies back to me "you can't tow that" told him that i have used them 5x8 multiple times and there website even says i can. He does all the changes, i go back and they hook up what i thought was the 5x8, i go move the generator for my father and he returns the trailer for me. Turns out they gave me a 5x9 which cost little bit more and not the 5x8 that was for $18.95 that i requested from the very beginning. so that is three strikes in my book. Will not be back there again ever.

truck interiour was dirty dust on dash cup holders had stuff in them staff was a little undertrained not profisent.



reserved a 6 X 12 Enclosed trailer. When I got there the trailer was NOT there. When I reserved online it said if equipment not there then get $50 voucher. I was given $5.00 off of a 12x6 open trailer with a ramp. U believe I should have been entitled to the $50 voucher and then use the voucher to rent the !2 X 6 open trailer. Why make reservation when it is not there when I need it. It was much more difficult to use the open trailer than the enc;ose trailer I reserved. What can you do to compensate me for my troubles?

Lack of customer service The personel at this location need to improve in communications and people skills. No explanation of the truck and its contents I have returned the blankets and I left several messages to this store to credit my credit card. As of today Im still watiring to hear from anyone from Uhaul
