carlos r | Overall ExperienceThe manager or general manager, you would call it Tracy Roberts, very rude, very rude, very unprofessional. Try to act professional, but she's very unprofessional. Harassment, she harassed me several times I lost my job. And it was kind of hard for me to keep up with my payments wanted me to make sure I come in every month and pay on time when it was impossible for me to do that, especially losing a job, I would come in, she knew when I'm coming in and would try to literally start a argument. And would say, I got many complaints on you, she never got any complaints on me if she's saying this one young lady who was very, very professional. Always tried to put me on the phone with the manager and I clearly told them I don't wanna speak with the manager.Do not put me on the speakerphone and try to talk to me in front of guests.I was constantly put on speakerphone to where I refused to let anyone steal my piece. But then the harassment letters would come in not just one in the email or 2 in the email or every other day in the email, letting me know I'm late, I mean, just constant harassment, then the calls would come in, I would never recommend anyone to the Lancaster, East Side U-Haul storage place. Never in the beginning. This lady was nice but turned out to be like a Dr. Jekyll and mister high. I had to call many of times for complaint telling me she's gonna put my storage under lein. I just got tired of her so I took my stuff out of the storage place and I moved my stuff to another facility. It won't be uhaul. If someone else that I should have went to in the beginning? But you learn as you deal with people. I came in on the 17th. My payment was made on the 15th and they still had a lock on my storage. I had to go up and say something and then she tried to start a argument with me. No, you're wrong. I paid you on the 15th. Why is it a lock still on my storage? On the 17th. Again, very unprofessional. I never got this gentleman's name that works there and I just felt like he should have been the manager or the general manager. Tracy Robert has no experience on Dealing with customers. I've called and tried to make complaints on this lady and what she was doing. It seemed like they're only looking at what she's writing down and what she's doing. Glad that i'm done and over with of dealing with uhaul , and I will never go back and I will never recommend not a soul to that facility or u haul perio again.

It is the staff in the office that is unwilling to do the right thing.pertaing to giving the refund on the remaining month in witch I paid in full on 10/07/26. I emptied and closed the account on 10/13/26. I only used 6 days. Therefore not using the remaining 24 days till the rest of month term. The clerk and the Mgr told me that remaining money for the money is kept and it's a Housing fee. I called corporate and filed a complaint. Also the BBB. The mayor of Lancaster CA. Rex Parris. When I asked to see the policy both clerk and Mgr stated because I closed the account they couldn't give or show me the policy pertaining to unused money. The unit is going to be rented again by someone else. Thus they will be receiving double the money for one unit. As far as I'm concerned they still owe me the difference of $64. For the remaining 24 days. Then the clerk called the police for no resend. Imagine having the police called because I requested a refund. I never threatened them. Simply I said leaving you think because I m old and white you can treat me . All while I witness the clerk bending over backwards to help two other customers of color. Yes the works were African American. Sincerely Upset L

My main issue was the sign posted outside the gate’s entrance that states extended times of access, trash disposal options, card access and having to exit to use the restroom.
