It was easy from start to finish, ordered the truck, picked up the truck, dropped off the truck. The only problem was it felt like something was wrong with the transmission, it really struggled to shift. Over all it was a good experience, the customer service was great.

The man snow blowing the parking lot this location continually threw the snow on my car while I was waiting to get the app to work to rent the vehicle. I told him I would be two minutes. After a confrontation he also decided to get right in my face take my picture a picture of my license plate. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also as I tried to pick up the vehicle the app also asks for 2 people to call for verify you are who you say you are. When I couldn't they asked me to send them a picture of a passport or lease agreement. Who brings those to a parking lot to pick up a rental. Not the ease you think NJ it would be. 1 hour later I finally left the lot. Never again what Korea did they need as I sent them a photo of the front and back of my license

The online pick up service was subpar. The online rep was rude and made me submit 9 copies of my photo id which I already submitted when I pre-registered. Next time I will just let the store check me in. The store employees were amazing.

I waited over 40 minutes to "check out" the truck. This was the most ridiculous process I have ever seen. The staff did not seem to care, they did not have me sign any paperwork and over charged me! They re-booked my truck for sunday, 10/1 and I was called by Uhaul corporate to ask what happened. This location should not be allowed to continue. The truck was disgusting, the employees were rude, I signed no paperwork, was not given a receipt and had 40 minutes of tine lost due to their incompetancy.

The truck was beyond dirty. There was mud all over the cabin, truck was dented and scratched all over and was never marked. Driver side mirror was broke. When I went inside for the key, the owner refused to help me when I was next in line and decided to help 2 other customers first and told me I was wrong about me being next and I need to wait my turn when I was there first. Worst service I’ve ever had. This one incident makes me wonder if I should continue to use U-Haul when I need.

Customer service seemed too busy to provide instructions on how to drop off the truck. They did not verify who we were or ask any questions except, "was the gas filled back up." They took the keys and continued to help other customers in the store.

The only sign on the front of the building is for a grocery store. It's a busy road so I had to drive by twice before I figured it out. I will never set foot in that location and will make sure to recommend people go somewhere else.

My overall experience with my pick up of my vehicle was terrible. On Monday I stopped at a U-Haul store in Lancaster near my home. The gentleman was very helpful and gave me a quote and a 800 number to call to set up my rental. On Tuesday I called the 800 number and set things up and said that I wanted to pick the rental up at either Lancaster on Philadelphia Pike or Willow Street after 6pm. I was told that it was a regionalthing and they would get me as close to one of those locations, but I would find out which location on Thursday. I got my confirmation and it listed my pick up time as 1230. ( Remember I said that O couldn't pick the rental up until after 6pm because I worked. I called the 800 number back and talked to another rep Andre, and he said that he would make the change to 6pm, which I got a confirmation that he did. Fast forward to Thursday and I get the confirmation as to where and when to pick up my rental and the confirmation said my pick up was Columbia, Pa ( over 25 miles from my home) and the pick up time was by 230pm ( 3 and a half hrs before I could pick it up. I got back on the 800 number and it asked me to hit 3 for rentals that were already set up so I did and was on hold for 30 minutes, frustrated, I hung up and re-dialed the 800 number and this time I hit 1 for a new rental hoping that I could get through and was on hold over 15 minutes before I got to talk to a real person. This person was cordial, but explained that she couldn't help me, but would connect me to a person that could. I waited another 12 minutes and got connected to a representative named Sue Ann who listened to my complaint and looked at my reservation number and managed to get me a reservation for the rental that I wanted at the time that I needed to pick it up, at a place that was ten miles closer to my home. She was very professional and gave me additional mileage because I had to travel the extra distance. That may be part of the reason for a low review on my pick up place. It wasn't terrible, that us why I listed N/A for a lot of the questions, but it was at an international grocery store that was extremely busy and the lady that took care of me was very nice, but no one showed me to the vehicle, went over it and showed me anything about it, or even told me which vehicle it was. She just handed me the key and said the tank is 7/8 full and you need to have it the same when you drop it off, which I had no idea where I was to drop it off. When I made the original reservation, I asked for a return at a U-Haul station near Lawnton, Pa. I was told that it would be on my reservation,which it apparently wasn't. I got on my smart phone and looked up a place that looked close to my daughter's apartment and gave that to her. All in all a bad experience.

Note what damages are already on vehicle before rental. I noticed the mirror was broken but it wasn't noted and I was afraid I would be charged for it. Luckily I was not but someone else down the road (pun intended) might be.

The gas tank was on half of tank when i dropped it off in lancaster pa he told me the contract says ut was 3/4 full and wanted me to pay for the gas or charge my credit card .i explained to him it was only on a half a tank but he agrued with me i walked out please let me know what is going to happen

The uhaul location is a local grocery store, where the owners and staff have little familiarity with reservations. I purposefully completed express check-in so that I could just pick up the keys and go. I confirmed the reservation the day before and informed the staff that I would be there up to an hour late from the appointment pick-up. They exclaimed relief so that there was more time to get the truck ready. I arrived the day of pick-up and the gentlemen says that I didn’t check in and is walking me through the whole process including asking what add ons do I need which we’re already outlined and paid via online “express” check-in. He then tried to change my one way return location. Once I had keys in hand, I thought ok at least I can just get on the road, but no. The truck was not ready. I asked for a hand truck and 24 furniture wraps. These items were not in the truck. All in all, we wasted an hour at the pick-up location due to inadequate preparations and not following the reservation line items. Once we were on the road we had another rude surprise. The truck was on Empty. Not “just above empty”, literally on empty. As we rolled into the gas station a 1/2 mile down the road, the truck ran out of gas just in time. My overall Uhaul past experiences have been great; however, this location has been the worst customer service regarding reservation preparation.

i got charged with the truck rental total the same day truck was return but 3 days later i got charged with and amount of $82.52 That dont have nothing to do with the $112.46 that was already tooken out my account which i dont Understand and thanks to that i have a negative in my acount i demand my $82.52 back really dont Understand statement comes out under that stores name like i said before i demand my $82.52 back that dont have nothing at all to do with the truck rental
