The location did not know how to access the key. I reserved truck at 9am and did not get it till 10am after a long phone call with U-Haul. I was then told I’d get $50 credit and NEVER did

It took me an hour to get my truck ready due cannot find the key in lock bin and finally found key in return box. Also cannot get to click “pick up my truck” in app and had to call customers help to get the lock code to find the key also gave me the wrong hand truck dolly.
MATTHEW FFirst and foremost, no one cleaned the truck out. I found a loaded handgun on the front seat and had to call the police department to come and get it out. I don’t know what kind of operation you’re running, but my son was in the truck and this could’ve been a very serious deadly situation, and I have yet to heard from anybody in your company so you will be hearing from my attorney, not even so much as a phone call from somebody of importance in regards to this matter except the local manager who had nothing to say for himself, shame on this company For letting something like this happen I
PHILIP RThe counter person was helpful after the original drop off location refused to accept the trailer for return. I was at the scheduled drop off location on time, directed to take the trailer “Down the street” because he didn’t want it. It seemed to make a nightmare for the girl behind the counter, she was trying to take care of her food store customers, which is ok. She had me drop the trailer and did not offer me a receipt (my mistake, I should have insisted on one) 2 days later the trailer hadn’t been turned in according to the system and I paid 2 more days of rental! I had to call U-Haul to look into why the trailer hadn’t been returned in the system.
Barry BAll good. The return of the one truck we rented doubled their fleet.
