MARK WThe truck itself needed serious maintenance. There were lots of issues, including no lights inside the storage area. They were there, but they didn’t work anyway. The emergency brake stuck, and I broke off my entire pointer finger nail when it finally snapped loose. The ramp is warped and took four people to pull it out and wedge it. The vehicle needs maintenance and runs extremely rough, but I do know the weather is for so this could be a lot of the issues with the vehicle. When I picked it up, there was a group of young people there it looked like they were definitely up to something they shouldn’t be doing and made some comments about my vehicle. Super uncomfortable moment. And I was extremely disappointed when I tried to contact customer service as the one person I got told me they didn’t know to every single question I had or they couldn’t help me. It took me almost 2 1/half hours to get the rental because the online check-in not the location itself. Most of this rating has to do with the online service and the online assistance not necessarily the location. The location itself was probably fine but I would never recommend anyone use U-Haul after this experience and the one prior I’ve used U-Haul many times, but this will be the last now that there are other options in the industry I have no interest in ever using U-Haul again

JUAN PFirst, this was not our original location chosen. I had reserved at a location that was open on Sundays at 9 am, because we were on a time crunch. Day before (on Saturday) I get a message that we now have to pick up at a different location that does not open until 10:30 am. Luckily, I was able to change the pick-up to Saturday, because 10:30 am was way too late to get started. When inspecting the trailer, it was discovered the running lights did not work. Not ideal since part of the drive was going to be at night. We were told we had to take it or have nothing. The taillights worked off and on, but the right blinker never worked on our 8 hour drive.
