Booked the rental a week or so before the move on August 2nd. I arranged to pick it up at 10 am through a u-haul associate whom was very helpful. On August 1, 2026, I received a call to tell me I’d have to drive 30 minutes to the next city to get the truck. The woman managed to arrange for the original reservation location for pickup. I went to pick up the truck on the 2nd and the app wasn’t permitting me to pick up the truck. I called u-haul, opted for the call back as wait time was supposed to be 45 minutes. I waited until 12:00 pm to see an assistant for U-Haul. She advised me that the u-haul rep had put my reservation in limbo so the app couldn’t do its job. After over 2 hours I got my call back from U-Haul. This was not acceptable

It was a 24/7 pickup
Derwin BEmployee was not knowledgeable on the u-haul procedures, didn’t know the protocols and steps to rent it to a costumer. Trailer hitch was on the ground, so attaching it to a vehicle is not costumer friendly especially if it was a costumer who is not able to physically lift it onto the vehicle. I would recommend other locations before this one.

KIRSTIN MRan card 10 times for different amounts. Returned vehicle before due time under miles paid for wirh gas back at correct level. Told dispute was being addressed. Mind you this is a week or more later all of a sudden they are trying to get a 3rd day payment. Let's not even address the fact it stated $20 refund if truck is cleaned which it was. Unacceptable biz practices
