I had a deeply frustrating experience at this location with my recent 10-foot truck rental.When I picked up the truck, it was in such poor condition and so badly maintained that I had to immediately request the desk person for a replacement. Knowing how these things go, I was incredibly careful. I took clear time-stamped pictures of the mileage and the gas gauge right when I picked up the second truck. I returned the truck the very next day—well before my deadline—and filled the gas tank back up exactly to the line where it started. I took pictures of the final mileage and gas gauge too.Despite doing everything right and having the photo proof, U-Haul still charged me an extra fee for gas. I called their office to sort it out. The representative took down all of my details, promised me they would look into it, and assured me someone would call me back with a refund. Nobody ever bothered to call back, and no refund was ever issued for $46. It is incredibly discouraging to deal with a company that ignores its own customers, charges hidden fees despite photo evidence, and breaks its promises to follow up. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!
