The truck was excellent. The auto transport had some issues. There was a dent under the bed that pinched the strap and prevented it from sliding to match the tire location. Once I addressed that by prying up on the strap retaining bar, I discovered that the strap was broken and wouldn't reach the ratchet. I had to improvise with a personal strap.JOHN S.

Truck was ready as promised and clean. The app used for documenting the truck condition was easy to use but it couldn't accommodate all the pictures i wanted to upload to document the condition. i think being more specific about what types of "damage" should be documented versus what is normal wear and tear might eliminate this issue or time spent trying to identify any condition concerns. I rented the truck for $19.95 â€œper dayâ€ I rented at 10pm, and â€œestimatedâ€ that I would return the truck by 2pm the following day, but actually red turned it at 4:30 the following day, still only 18 hours, yet I was charged for TWO $19.95 â€œdaysâ€!! It's not my problem that the my mechanics place wanted to rent it again at 2pm, I did not keep it beyond 24 hours and was charged double, thst is fraud,Deborah N.
I understand this place is only half uhaul and half owners business but the individuals at the counter seemed overwhelmed by 2 customers. One of the employees just left as soon as customers started lining up behind me, leaving the other employee to deal with the fact that my "GUARANTEED" auto transport reservation was NOT there and I had to drive to Detroit to get it myself, which I was charged for, and her broken printer so I couldn't sign any paperwork. The front left tire needed air. We arrived at the location thinking no one would be available to help. There actually were people in the building. However, they weren't very helpful. We went in to ask about what to do about the tire. (The instrument cluster had told us about the tire.). The person we asked said not to worry about it. ðŸ¤”. When we persisted he gave us a tire gauge, then he came out to check. The tire pressure was 34 psi. The sticker on the car said it should be 55 psi. He told us not to worry about it.
