Location opened late, attendant did not show up until 9:00AM. Pickup time was 9:00, as not able to actually leave location until 9:20 Very slow getting started up and and taking information, did not have any information about equipment. Very difficult to get dolly out of location due to clutter. No room for trucks to be parked correctly, zero visibility of street trying to back out of parking, employee did not offer to help direct backing out. Terrible experience at this location, I have rented Uhaul vehicles multiple times before and never experienced such incompetence of staff, and poor location.

I left the vehicle with a half tank of gas more than what was in it when I picked it up. I feel I should receive a credit for this as this was an unnecessary expense. Seems like a generally unsafe or sketchy part of the city for an evening drop off.

The staff person was friendly and tried to do his best but didn't know the vehicles and took way too long processing my reservation as he was the only person in the store and had to look after everything. The truck itself was dirty. Couldn't adjust the side mirrors....very dangerous!

My original return location was to be 477 Dundas st London Ontario. When trying to return my truck to this location I was refused service, and was treated very poorly, as a paying customer. I was told they only handle 1 truck at a time at there location.I live in the neighborhood and have personally seen many trucks parked at this location. They sent me to a non existing U-Haul address.And were rude to boot. I had to find the return location on my own. This put me over on my mileage, as a client I will consider other options in the future, for my rentals, due to this instance. Waterloo U-Haul, And California Convenience, were excellent to work with, it is a shame one rotten representative, ruins a perfect experience.

When we arrived to pick the truck up, there was no one in front us and the paperwork took over 45 minutes. Then when it came time to inspect the truck and get the keys and they had the wrong truck. We as the clients had to figure out which keys and truck were ours. Also, the contract they print had another clients personal information on the back - address, phone number, names and credit information. It made me very uncomfortable to know that my information could be available to another future client...

Have the truck in for repairs before renting out especially for highway driving. The engine light and some other truck symbol light was on the whole trip. The passenger door didn`t close correctly. Truck had hard time getting in gear when loaded. Felt unsafe in the truck. The gas gauge was a quarter tank over estimated.

Attendant had no idea what to do.Was on phone with someone else face-timing the transaction so whoever was on the other end could see the monitor. I was required to provide all of the information that i had already provided when I originally booked. Was asked for the 'Zip Code' of the location that i was going to. I did not have this information on me so the attendant just shrugged and let me know that until i provided that information there was nothing he could do. Truck was dirty and had 2 tires that required air. This was the 3rd location i was directed to. I had originally booked a 10' truck to pick up at Clarke Rd at 7:00 am at least a week before this date and all seemed to be locked in. The day prior to pick-up i was told that they didn't have a 10' and if i wanted one i would need to go to Little Simcoe St but it wouldn't be available until 8:00 am. I arrived at 8:00 am and waited until 8:15 - but the gates remained locked and no-one was around to attend to us. I called the number for this location but all i got was an answering machine. I called U-Haul and they contacted the agent and informed me that, although i had a pickup scheduled for 8:00 am and the hours of operation stated for this location indicated an open time of 8:00 am, he wouldn't be there until 9:00. The agent on the phone was able to locate a 10' truck at California Convenience which was close by, California Convenience is a brand killer for U-Haul and you should seriously consider ending your business relationship with them. It took me almost 45 minutes to complete the paper work to before i could pick up the vehicle at this location. Everyone at U-Haul that i spoke with on the phone was professional and helpful - i only wish that the same occurred with individuals that I needed to deal with live. I would think twice about using U-Haul again for this reason.
