My U-Haul was not available at the location specified in my reservation confirmation, so I had to call around and find out where the nearest truck was and then drive to another location which took up valuable move time. I have tried to call several times to redeem the $50 reservation guarantee, but am left on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time. Is anyone monitoring the phones there? Also, the truck wasn't full of gas, which makes re-filling to the right level a guessing game. As a result, I overfilled the tank (and overpaid).

Screwed on charges. Went back and spoke to the man. I was charged on the wrong card .. the one I used to hold the reservation. And I was charged for insurance which not I only did I not ask for ... I was never asked by the man if I wanted it. I took the truck with no paper work. A first in all my years using U-Haul. Never used this location before. For some reason your company does not list the U-Haul 4045 Cherry LB 90807 on your website. Nor do you list the one on 5880 Paramount Bl. LB 90805. Why is that. These are two great stores. The I used today should be taken out of the system. Still waiting for my credit. Total b.s..

Their parking lot was full and we weren't sure where to leave the vehicle since it was after closing. Luckily, the customer service rep on the phone guided us and we were able to successfully return it.

Everything was easy from pick up to turn in. Well done. I extended my reservation because I thought that I might not finish my work in time. As it happened, I returned before my original deadline. It would have been nice to get at least a partial refund of the extension.

I arrived to drop off my vehicle 45 minutes after the location was to be open and no one was there and the doors were locked. I would have had to make a second trip if, by pure chance, another person hadn't been there to inform me I could drop my key through a slot in the door..

This was by far the worse customer service experience I have ever experience. The day started with going to one place and they didn't have our size truck. Then we went to a second location (the one above) and they had our truck but lost the key. And all the guy (Robert) said was "oh well I am not sure what to tell you." We called his Supervisor (Robert) and left a message and never heard back. We called the President (Erik) left a message and never heard back. After we called around long beach to find a truck since no one else was helping us or seemed to care that I needed to move that day, we found a third place with a truck. I made this reservation well in advance and did the express check out. My appointment was at 8a and the Robert guy kept saying 9:45a when I had a text, call AND email saying otherwise. He was rude and unaccommodating. We were offered a $50 guarantee at the end of the day but that is still not enough. I drove to THREE places. Hunted down a truck when I HAD A RESERVATION. And was treated so poorly. All while still having to move, which is already stressful in itself. I only ended up using the truck from 10a (delayed 2 hours) until 3:30p. I do not want to be charged more for that and I would like some of my mileage compensated along with my dolly comped. This was a HORRIBLE experience and I am can't seem to get in touch with any managers to help remedy. I had to problem solve myself and was delayed big time. I am not sure I ever want to use UHAUL again and I will be sure to pass my experience onto my friends and family. Mistakes happen but customer service is what sets companies apart. You failed me.

Although I reserved a moving van and a utility dolly, when I arrived there was no utility dolly, yet he charged me for it. I was told to go to a nearby Uhaul to rent another one, which I did. I had to call Uhaul to get it straight. I won't go back there again.

we had and are still having a very bad experience at this location, my husband and I made a big decision to move 22 hours away once we got to the longbeach location we were initially suppoed to pick up a 17 foot truck NOT knowing until today it was a 15 foot we were given with no explanation as to why, the guy who rented the truck to us was very unknowadgable of anything, he had to call uhaul several times himself because he kept hitting a button and losing everything he had slid my card already once lost the information made another call and slid my card again to the point f me having to call my bank to make sure I wasn't double charged 346 bucks, after he'd finally gotten it straight after several attempts some guy brings truck around the reps DID NOT check outside or inside of the truck AT ALL when we go to drop off truck they said we'd went over 300 miles I almost fainted there was no way at all that this could have happened so it was a balance of almost 100 bucks to be paid and im like gosh its so unfair and I wouldn't wish this uahul locaction on anyone ive been renting uhauls for over 20 years and ive never ever went through experience at all, everyone at the drop off location was totally different it was a complete 360 I would not and WILL NOT ever rent from this place again
