Dishonest, charged my card 1 week after for a different called to get the invoice and the manager has no record or receipt of transactions or bill for why there charging my card after I returned and signed of on paperwork for the truck will be calling my bank to dispute chargers and reporting them to the better business beuto

Terrible customer service. The person who gave the key to us was very rude and the verification through the app was very slow and time consuming. Also what is the point to provide dolly to rent and it's not available when you try to get it?
everything went very well. truck was brand new, clean.
This location relies on the Uhaul app and website for all of its operations. The person in the office, Linda, is very rude and quite racist, and whenever something went wrong, such as the mileage on my paperwork not matching the mileage on my vehicle, she began screaming that only her supervisor, who was not present, could fix it. (In all fairness to her supervisor, Sean, when I reached on the phone he was very helpful.)
Ordered a furniture dolly and when arrived at the site, they had non in stock. VERY big disconnect from what you order online and what is actually available in stores. Had I known this, I would have rented elsewhere.
The woman working the desk was extremely nasty, disrespectful, and unprofessional. There was a problem with the keys and the lock boxes and instead of taking responsibility and understanding that ALL customers were frustrated and delayed because of this, she was nasty and rude with everyone. She talked over all of us and didn't listen to us. She even called the cops on one of the customers bc he was really frustrated with her and she used her privilege as a white woman to weaponize the cops against this customer who was a black man. Disgusting. She should not be working there and I will be telling EVERYONE I know about this. Terrible.
The office staff seemed very unorganized. My online reservation stated a different price than what I was charged. My one way trip was changed to an in town round trip which was highly inconvenient. I would not recommend this location or even use this location again myself.
The woman who works at this rental location is uneducated and unprofessional and not fit to be in customer service! She was outrageously rude and unhelpful from the get go when we were picking up the van. I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and everyone needs to practice safety measures. But she was behind a closed glass window and not wearing a mask herself. I was with my uncle who English isn't his first language but he was the one who was operating the Van. So I wanted to be present to translate for him, to make her life easier and we both wore face masks. But she was unaccommodating and insisted there can only be one person in the room at a time. So left my uncle waited outside on the sidewalk. Few minutes later when she couldn't fully understand him, she yelled outside to the street from her window for me to return inside to translate for her. Then I had to switch places with my uncle. She also billed us incorrectly and overcharged by almost $100. The link for the app did not work. Despite me showing her this, she still financially penalized us for it! When we called the next day to bring all of her billing errors to her attention, she impatiently brushed us off. She didn't even attempt to hear us out. She told us she couldn't do anything and that we call Uhaul customer line. Horrendous experience!
Finding parking when returning the van at night was nearly impossible. Not worth the headache and stress of finding street parking in nyc.
The whole process was made slightly unclear by the woman working at the front. She was erratic and not personable at all. As we are in a pandemic (and being someone who works in customer service) a little kindness goes a long way. Also, having to find parking for the uhaul in a limited area is extremely challenging and almost made me miss the deadline time for drop off (I had gotten their over an hour before my scheduled return time for reference). Otherwise, the uhaul did it's job in assisting me on my move.
No one told us you needed approval and you would not be able to get your key without it. Our pick up time was for 10am and after having to figure out on our own we needed an approval code we did not get the truck until 10:40
I cannot understand how U- Haul as a company continues to allow this entity to continue representing them. Subsequent to my renting the truck I went on line and read the past reviews. I should have done that prior.The rental agent in the office was rude, arrogant, insipid and could not care less about customer service. she answered no questions that I posed to her and on the return the following morning was again as rude as the day before. the truck had no working radio, the drivers door handle to lower the window as broken, the truck shifted to the right when braking, rear taillight was hanging out and the truck was not cleaned. I was informed that there is NO PARKING in the area so it will be hard to find a space upon the return. why would U-Haul allow a site to rent without having a proper yard. Insofar as tolls when I asked she said I was on my own. I rented a truck from Ryder and they set me up with tolls by mail, I will never rent from U-Haul again and urge you to cancel your agreement.
I left it and left the keys so no issues, just the comments above.
I wasn't aware of having to call references upon picking up the truck. I figure that would be a question while I rented it on the phone, the night before. Or at least give me a heads up on the procedure when going to pickup the truck. Other than that, all good.
Well no improve is necessary at this location Linda the secretary there is the greatest she helped me so much I really appreciated her she get 5000 stars from me
not requiring me to login 3-4 times just for pickup and return.
Every thing is great. Expect parking on street. When I return a track, It was hard to find parking spot.
Can't think of anything. They were very helpful And understanding when I was delayed picking up the van.
Worst Uhaul facility and experience of all time. The truck was is terrible shape- graffitied and scratched. Unreported damage that didn't match the last photos. The gas meter was wrong. The owner and his partner seemed to have no idea what they were doing, no idea what was in the inventory of trucks, and took a very long time to do simple things to help me check out. Truck was not clearly marked and I couldn't understand half of what they were telling me about parking. The experience was so bad I would actually like a refund or credit from Uhaul; I rent from you so often I practically keep you guys in business. This facility is garbage- totally.
When retrieving the uhaul, lady behind the glass demanded that I return the uhaul the next day after I told her I wanted to extend my rental. She stated that she had other customers that were booked for the weekend and didn't want to disappoint them. I reminded her that I too am a customer and she was inconveniencing me by telling me to return the uhaul truck the next day. Realizing that I was wasting my time talking to her, I called the 800 number and extended my rental for two extra days.
Person at desk was very rude. Not helpful. Simply told me I had to find a place on the street to park my van. Yelled at me multiple times. Extremely unpleasant. Would not come back here again.

Linda helped me out and she was incredible. Very kind and informed me well of all the policies. When it comes to location, this one's best if you've got a car and can swap it with the U-Haul. Otherwise, parking could be tough on the returning end.
