I've used Uhaul several times and this was by far my worst experience. I arrived at the site and one employee took 25 minutes to finish checking in the customer in front of me, meanwhile another employee sat behind the desk going through some papers and never offered to help us. Once I was helped, they informed me I should just do the paperwork for my van at that time and when i returned they would have the pods ready and would do the paperwork for those. When I returned hours later, I once again had to wait 20+ minutes to be helped, just to find that they still hadn't bothered to get my pods ready. In all, I spent over an hour that day just waiting to be helped. I normally love using uhaul but this experience was absolutely infuriating.

I would suggest that your associate, Yesenia receive better customer service training. She clearly doesn't like her job and made me regret doing business there today. She threatened to charge for the next person's reservation to "Frenso" if I wasn't back with the truck I rented in exactly 2 hrs. Not only did she speak to me like a child, she showed me that my business wasn't valued there. I've used Uhaul in the past and I've never had a bad experience before this reservation or been treated this way. She's very unprofessional and I really hope someone addresses her behavior before Uhaul loses another customer. Thank you for your time.

The young woman who assisted me when returning the truck had zero customer service and looked like she hated her job. She also left a message before me dropping off the vehicle and she couldn’t pronounce even basic words. The recording sounded horrible...hire people that can speak properly and care about customer service.

I should up on time with rude staff. And after 30 minutes they told me they didn’t have a truck available. They forced me to go to another uhaul location in the complete opposite direction of my destination. No number, advice, apologies just an address. Please help me get a refund or something. The second location was nice and very friendly. Just huge inconvenience to my move, and could have been handled better.

can not think of anything ; staff at the Arapahoe st facility is friendly, courteous, efficient ; only thing is that the pickup truck unlock door fob also unlocks the back deck gate of the pickup which I don't remember being explained

The area is not the best but you can be assured the Uhaul service team is great. Rogelio, manager was fantastic in efficiently updating my family members drop off location there so that we could drop off the truck and all of our equipment there and not have to drive to another location. I will definitely use this location again due to his excellent customer service.

Really nice truck, much smoother ride than I was expecting. The woman working the desk, Yolanda I think, was very warm and helpful.

Acknowledge customers as they come in, and let them know someone will be with them. I waited 40 minutes to pickup a reservation.

Dropping off the vechile took longer than normal. I waited about 5 minutes with nobody in sight until I called the office inside to let them know nobody was here to check in the vechile.

During a reservation, call center informed me that I can ask the site to borrow straps to secure appliances on to the truck. When i inquired about this, I was asked to buy elastic straps instead.

It was frustrating that we were given this location - we came very close to exceeding the number of miles allowed because of being given this location. The cost was completely excessive - we had the smallest van, drove less than 30 miles, had the vehicle fro just about 2 hours and had to pay nearly $150 not including filling the tank up with gas afterwards. I am not inclined to use Uhaul ever again. In addition, at the drop off location they tried to tell us we had to drop the van off at the Hollywood location which is incorrect and frustrating that they would even suggest that.

I was over 1.8 miles and charged .79 cents. Really? And here I was worried about returning the truck with a full tank of gas.

Where do I begin? Originally had a truck reserved in Chatsworth to the point a day and a half before the pick up I received confirmation. I get a call at 3pm the day before my 8am pickup that my truck was broken. My first response was asking then where do I get a truck. The woman at the local franchisee, who barely speaks English insists she can do nothing with the reservation and it is up to me to find a new truck. In under 24 hour notice. I insist it is on her to call to find an alternative and again she can and will do nothing to fix the scenario even as I explain that I am literally boxing items. She said she will call back. Never did and can prove with phone records. I call the regional hub I'm Van Nuts as is in the reservation issue. Now, I am a bit miffed that it took me calling them to fix up the mistake on the behalf of Uhaul. The man, I never got a name, hung up. Call back, pick up and hung up. Call yet again, get a lovely lady (probably black so you can narrow down ) whose name I forget and hears me out and tries to fix the issue. It's easier to get a location closer to my new apartment soon we book it out of the location just out of DTLA vs the valley and she helps even though it requires coordinating w another district. Again, she is the only one to help me. Pick up the truck at the new location. And oh boy. It's beat to hell including a huge gash through a layer of siding that made me glad that I live in socal and thus had no rain concerns. That truck was a deathtrap. The steering wheel and column had about 10-20 degree give where it was unresponsive and made it almost impossible to not over correct. The transmission started making horrific noises at highway speed to the point I thought it was about to die. The brakes screeched.... Probably particle issues but you know, one of those things you deal with because it can cover up actual issues. When I bring the vehicle back, I point out these things as 2 of these were definite dangers and the other was possibly. The folks running the office get defensive making excuses for the transmission going out as part of towing (no, I know what a bad transmission sounds like even though I am female) and also was not towing a vehicle or had a nearly packed truck. Less than half and only because it was the smallest option with a ramp. The brakes were examined as "mine so that all the time and the mechanic says it's okay" she needs a new mechanic because again, if it is not a problem you should clean the area out and avoid it disguising other issues - mechanics 101 I WA taught from the age of 4 or 5. The guy says he's going to go drive it right there as if daring to prove me wrong. As though I should stick around. I didn't ask for anything, just pointing out it is dangerous and needs to be attended to. I get the defense of how the gent running the place tends to the vehicles himself. Well, then you fail. You will never, ever get my money again and frankl
