I reserved the van with no insurance but when I went to the place Nova storage in gardena he put insurance in the van. I told him I never get insurance out of all the rentals I get I never get uhaul insurance. I called corporate sales on the same day of rental and they transferred my call and said they would take the insurance off. I only had this problem once before and I the manager insisted I pay for the insurance and he would reimburse me but I declined because I like to show the clear history that I never purchase uhaul insurance. While they were pleasant, I got the truck on an empty tank. Not sure how the previous renter was able to show they had a quarter tank while they didn’t. I only drove maximum 10 miles so I know I didn’t drive enough to take it empty. I had to put gas in it to avoid the ridiculous fuel charge.
