I ran a lot of trailers from you. This is the first truck I’ve rented in a long time. They moved my reservation spot twice. Then when I went to pick up the truck, the dollies that I had requested were not in there I had to go to an alternate location on Preston Highway to rent an appliance dolly and a regular dolly and then when it was time to return the truck, I had to drop off the dollies at a separate location and then drive to the liquor store to drop off the truck. After talking to my people at the regular location on Preston Highway they told me that trucks were available that morning and there was no reason for you to switch me to another location and that does not work for me. I don’t want that to happen to anyone else and I know it’s a logistics thing and you’re trying to get people to go and pick up trucks that aren’t moving but in the end, I had a terrible experience. And finding out that I didn’t have to go through all that made it a lot worse.

TYRONE CWe rented a 26 foot truck and 2 dollys for our move. The truck was literally parked in trees and grass up to our knees. No one knew where it was, even the people on the phone. The dollys we rented were not there. My husband had to go to a different U-Haul location to get them. With all the delays, we were 3 hours behind on starting our moving process. It was extremely frustrating and I would not recommend coming here.

yoli vThe check in purposes took over two and half hours and I had movers and family waiting on me because of this. This location was further but UHual did give me some free miles to make up the difference. I purposely chose the original location because they usually assist me with the check in process and it could be done in person. Last minute U Hual said I must go to this liquor store location. The man in the liquor store was nice but not helpful. He had his friend over the phone help him with the process and wanted my personal debit card information on his cell phone. No. I protect my card information so chose to do it through the app. Took 15 minutes. As a woman with a recent abdominal surgery I told him I needed help retrieving the truck. On the hottest day of the year where temperatures were 98 degrees (literally not figuratively) with direct sunlight he told me to stay outside by myself and find the key. Said he couldn’t help my because he had to stay inside the store and watch register. I was dripping in sweat and had to hop in and out to find the key. This was extremely difficult. Her said he could not help. I told him I had to call the district schedulers because I couldn’t find the key. Then magically he pulled it out from behind the counter. Told him that a small UHual carrier was firmly and mechanically attached to my reserved U Hual truck (this attachment was not on my order and very expensive). Said he could not leave the store and could not help. I was tired, exhausted, drenched in sweat, had no accommodations which I needed due to my recent surgery and was behind two hours on my move. Due to this I called the district office. Once I called them he left the store and came outside to remove this attachment manually. Terrible and expensive experience. When returning the truck I called to find the drop off box and this liquor store had the nerve to file additional after hours charge when they did answer the phone or even come to help!!! U Hual has never been like this before. Only schedule at the stores!
