I made a reservation this morning to pick up an Auto Trailer from store located at 4612 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213. I received a confirmation number via email stating I could pick one up there at 12pm. Once I reached the location after a 2-1/2hr drive from the Nashville, TN area, I discovered that while they had one trailer, it was already promised to a different customer. I was then directed to go to 331 E Oak St in Louisville to get an AT there. This location turned out to be a small little market in a very bad part of the city. After checking in there and having my driver's license scanned in, the shopkeeper realized he didn't have what I needed at that location either. He gave me a number for Uhaul corporate to call, and then was done with the situation. I tried calling the number and was unable to reach anyone (1-800-628-1314). I returned to the first location to get better assistance (after already being very far behind schedule due to this incident), and after they called over, I was sent to 4128 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218 where I was finally able to get the trailer (AT4711Y) I needed. I found this whole debacle to be very unprofessional and an utter waste of time that I couldn't afford to lose. It put me very far behind schedule, and there was no attempt to rectify the situation. This is only days after I have had issues with contract number 88111232. I rented a box truck (DC2351W) from 1515 Gallatin Pike N, Madison, TN 37115 on the 6th of Feb for an overnight use going to Louisville, KY to be returned the next day to the same location. Since the building is still under construction, the customer entrance was not clearly marked. After finding it, I noticed there was an individual sitting in a Uhaul pickup truck outside the entrance. I walked inside the store to find a computer terminal set up on a makeshift desk with no associate in sight. After calling out several times and not receiving a response, I walked back outside to the individual in the truck who turned out to be the associate sleeping in the cab. I finally got the truck I needed, and went on my way. After doing what I needed with the truck, I returned it to the same store with the same associate at approximately 1100am. I put the keys in his hand and he told me I was good to go, and would receive a confirmation email once he had it checked in. Today (10Feb2021), after turning in the AT I rented to the store located at 208 W Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075. After turning in the trailer, I had the associate there check on the box truck contract, only to find out that the vehicle was still "dispatched" and had not been processed in yet. I now have to return to the Hendersonville store at 1100 tomorrow morning, furthering disrupting my schedule.

The storage unit was broken into and approximately $3000 was stolen. Supposedly the camera was blocked from identifying the those involved, camera tapes would identify who was moving at the time of the break-in. Very disappointed that our items were not safe. I feel it was an inside job, how many people carry lock cutters when they are moving. Definitely not a safe and secure storage unit to trust personal items.

I checked in on the app, only to find that when I got to the counter the truck the app told me I was using had just been given to someone else. But I got a bigger truck for the same cost because of it, so no biggie. I returned my truck with the app also. It told me to check that I'd filled up the tank, a couple other things, and asked me to drop the keys in the keys return and then press continue. So I did all that, and *after I no longer had the keys and I had locked the truck* the app asked me to take pictures of the odometer and other things I no longer had access to. Also the key return box at this location is back behind a fence with an "employees only" sign on it, and on the *opposite* side of the building where the "key return" stickers are on the walls. Had a heck of time finding it...

There was not a walk around when picking up the truck. The U haul was filthy and "spit" sunflower seeds out the vents when turning on the heat. There was not a walk around when returning the truck. I have not received a receipt for the truck as of yet. I would recommend Uhaul but not sure of this location.

VERY difficult to reach by phone. Wait-time often exceeds 20 min. Even with on-line check-in, transaction-time at the counter can be.considerable.

The biggest problem at this location is staffing. They always seem to be understaffed. In this case, it took nearly an hour to pick up a reserved trailer rental. Yes, it was Friday evening, and yes, they were busy, but there was ONE person tending the counter, and he left for 10-15 minutes while I (and others) stood there. From past experience, this is fairly typical--it's taken 20 minutes to get propane before, because they had no one who could either pump it, or check me out in a timely fashion.

My issue is not w/ the Bardstown location, they were great, my issue is with my original location that I booked the reservation with, the Bluegrass Pkwy "You Store It" location, they accepted my reservation and didn't have the equipment that I needed, as well as the lady that was running the storage place was very rude!!!

I requested a 10 ft truck and while I'm happy there was still anything at all to use, I almost couldnt climb up in it. When I tried to ask a question they answered as though I already knew. I'm 64, never did that before and could have used an explanation. Also pointing to my rental wasnt helpful since I didnt have the requested size. I literally walked around trying different locks before going back inside to ask again. And the clerk practically yelling at me in front of everyone in there didnt improve my experience.

The poor guy behind the desk was the only one on duty at that location. He did the best he could but was clearly overworked. There needs to be at least two attendants on location. My order was not right. I reserved a towing rig for my riding lawnmower. They instead gave me a rig for a car, which the lawnmower wouldn't have fit. I called the morning of the appointment to say I would be late due to car trouble. The woman I spoke with never did anything about it and my order was canceled when I didn't show up at the appointment time.

A man told me to leave the keys in the truck and he'd send an email. I assumed I would get an email shortly after dropping the truck off. I tried calling the facility while I know it was open and it went to the National call center. They didn't show that the truck was returned and when the woman called the local number, as I had done, it went to the call center, too. I was afraid I would get charged an additional day, even though I returned it 25 minutes prior to the 3:00 PM requirement. I finally received an email after about18 hours. Thankfully, it was correct and there were no additional fees. Not pleased with the return process.
