The reservation was made 4 days before we need to pick up tralet. We received text where to pick up. On the day when we need it we came to set location and location was closed. I called customer service and Tyson’s us to another location which it was closed too, we called again, they send us to the third one. That location did not have trailer. We call again, they send us to the forth one and they did not have the right trailer, then I called to the location area manager and she send us to the fifth location where we FINALLY got our trailer. Terrible experience.

Location claimed my trailer just went through a complete overhaul. However, the right turn signal did not work and the manager first wanted to blame my truck. After watching the mechanic untangle a rats nest of wiring, it was evident that this unit was not overhauled. After 1.5 hour delay the location would not give me the other same sized trailer on the lot and sent me south to another store when I was heading north. What a joke!

So, to top off my lousy day with uhaul, I arrive at this uhaul center near my home, where I have received great service before, to find a truck with the door open, engine running in the equipment return lane. No uhaul employee in sight. i went inside and asked about dropping off the towing trailer, and he said, wait outside in equipment return lane. I went to the return lane, still no employee in sight. I come back in to the center to describe what was going on with the truck, engine running, door open, and no employee in sight, and he says we know, he is helping another customer. I finally was able to drop off the tow trailer.

Workers were very rude, When I came to drop off my rental, I was told "I'm off the clock homie, I cant help you." Overall, employees had little to no knowledge about the equipment they were renting out, or about the way the system. I had one of the employees enter my information incorrectly and so they declined my rental. The employee put that the vehicle being towed was actually the vehicle doing the towing therefore the system declined. When I showed him what he did wrong he said "aw shit my bad". After countless rentals with UHaul, I have decided to stay away from this company. I have yet to receive 100% A+ service since starting to use them, I would also not recommend them to anyone else.

I recommend this location to everyone who asks about renting a truck. It's not the closest U-Haul location to my house, but it's the best rental experience I've had. The employees are always pleasant, the equipment is always clean, and the service is always prompt. I also had a hitch installed on my pickup at this location, and that service was excellent as well.

I have used U-Haul for moving since 2005. Never had a problem and everyone was always professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Never again will I use U-Haul and I will make sure I let everyone else I know not to do business with U-Haul. I was late returning the U-Haul truck for circumstances out of my control. I'm 3 months pregnant and had to move out of fear of my life and my unborn's child life due to domestic violence. My mother and I were the only two people moving. I rented the U-Haul truck at 10:15. I was not done at 5 as orginally planned. I lost track of time not realizing I should have returned the truck by then. A U-Haul representatives called me around 5:30 asking why I didn't return the equipment. I explained to him that I lost track of time and that it was only me and my mother moving and that I was pregnant. I apologized that I was late and told him that I couldn't give him a specific time as to when I would be back. He immediatly became rude, told me I need to return the truck immediately even though I told him I had stuff on the truck. He said he was going to charge a late fee (another's day rental fee) because I was late which I was okay with but then told me if I didn't retuen the truck by 7 he was going to charge me another late fee. He was not understanding of my situation and that I had been literally moving all day. It was like he didn't think I waa ever going to return the truck and I just wanted to keep it. I underand the frustration of me not returning the truck on time however his tone and disrespect was not deserved or acceptable. I have never been talked to anyone from any company the way he talked to me. I searched the contract that was giving to me at the time of the rental for late fee policy and I didn't see where he could charge md twice in the same day for being late. All the contract said is that late fees may be applied. For him to make threats that he was going to charge me again so that I would hurry up and return the truck is very unacceptably and not good business practices. I did call the U-Haul customer service and had to wait almost a half hour to get a representative on the phone. I explained the situation and asked them what their late policy was and the representative could not give me and explanation of what the policy was and kept placing me on hold. I was transferred to someone else. Had to explain the situation again and they finally told me to have the truck before the next morning and I would only be charged one late fee. The truck was returned around 2 a.m. when we finally done moving. I apologize for being late that was never my intention however I know that I have not been the only person that has been late. There should be policy and procedures put in place when things like this happened. I should have never been called and talked to like that. There was a better way to handle that. As mentioned before I will never use U-Haul again or recommend them to anyone. As the U-Haul rep

The truck had trash in the back (wet flyers from a mattress, and a furniture delivery) and the back was not swept out. The driver's seat right arm rest was broken. The well handle on the driver's side, which you would use to pull the door shut, was filled with water (it had rained a lot the day before).

my comment would be for the reservation... i reserved online to only have my reservation changed twice. i did everything upfront the online reservation to calling my requested pickup and drop off location to make sure it all went through correctly and they said yes... the my reservation was change to another location and then another with a different pick up time also. i'm just saying why have me reserve a time and location if your just going to change as you see fit. I'm guessing that another customer was giving the one i reserved because they walked in and rented it. i think they should've been sent to another location not the guy who took the time to reserve it. so if you want to improve id take a look on how that was handled. The original passcode for the lock box was was WRONG. I had to spend 35 minutes on hold with the 24/7 customer help and then they finally got the right code for us. When we made the original purchase we also included a dolly... which was not in the truck nor was anything said about it not being in the truck prior to pick up (I was so fustrated about the lock that I didn’t think to check the back of the truck until we arrived at our destination.) I called 24/7 customer help again and they said I could drive back and get one that was in the front of the store. The manager Jermery has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I explained the problems that occurred and at 1st he didn’t think I needed to be compensated for my time or extra miles (all I wanted was the 14 dollar dolly taken off and not to be charged for the extra mile) he kept wanting to offer me some sort of uhaul gift card and after telling him I just moved in to a house and the gift card would not do me any good being that I don’t plan on moving in the next 5 to 10 years he proceeds to tell me to call the corporate number again and re file a complaint with them. I have always used the location in the past but after all that happened I will no longer give them my business
