The weird right-wing political propaganda on the walls was SO off-putting and SO unprofessional. The truck was dusty and gross inside. The windshield and side windows had clearly not been wiped in some time. It desperately needed an alignment! I was not informed that there was a speed governor, either! It is wildly unsafe to NOT inform the driver of this. The speed limits here are up to 80 mph. The speed governor would not let me accelerate past 75. I should have known that before trying to go up a mountain at the speed limit! Surrounded by other drivers and huge semi trucks! So unsafe. The driver's side seat was completely broken down on the left side. I have back problems and the seat made our drive absolute torture. I trade hours of my precious life to make dollars. I paid HUNDREDS of those dollars to this company fully expecting to have a clean, well maintained vehicle to drive. I was very disappointed.

Nearly the same reason: I selected with the pick up location my drop off location to once again, half way on my drive be told I'm dropping it off somewhere else. Once again wasting my time and money for gas. Budget has "runners" who move trucks around. We the customers are the uhaul runners - except they don't tell you until you have already rented.

Bob was amazing. He seems like he has worked at Catch all Mini storage a long time and knows his stuff. He was so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I wish more people were like Bob nowadays, but he is few and far between. As long as Bob is there, I will bring my business to him.

Make sure all equipment is in good working order. Tried 3 dow dollies before one worked. It took us over 2 hours to pick up the dow dolly from the location.

uhaul and Microsoft both had a software update while I was trying to check in. I was there an hour. Harry was a super helper. You should be able to drop of your truck where it's easy for you not easy for uhaul. Took three tries to make that happen, else pretty good. Wish the big trucks had an easier way of adjusting the mirrors.

Truck was new and trouble free, for which I was very grateful. The trailer was a learning experience. No one told me not to pull my hand brake. (I have a manual transmission, I always pull the brake on an incline.) Two blocks down the road my brakes were smoking. I think that should have been included in my getting to know your truck and trailer session.

Locations were great. 1-800 uhaul customer service was the least helpful during the booking process. The website auto adjusted my online order more than once. I had to call multiple times to get it corrected.

The equipment, the pick up point and the drop off point were all fine and what I've come to expect from UHaul. Staff at both locations were helpful, though the drop off point was not my initial preference; that location had closed at 1pm and would not accept after hours drops. But overall, the in person experience was fine, at both the pick up and drop off location. What was not fine was the "customer service" at the call center. That is an oxymoron. There was none. I had initially reserved a truck on line at a specific location, which I have used many times before. I got an acknowledgement of the reservation, at the location I preferred, and for the truck that I needed. The word "preferred" is what is a sticking point. Though it was my preference, and though my acknowledgement indicated that location, the actual location that I was given to pick up my truck when I checked in on line, was 20 miles from my starting point, rather than the 5 miles that I was anticipating. When I called their call center, the person on the line said that they guaranteed the truck but not the location and that, for the truck that I wanted, there was nothing available closer, and not at the location I had specified. I asked if there was a different size truck, and was advised there was not. She said they guarantee the truck, but not the location. I told her this was frustrating, as I had gotten an acknowlegement of the location, and her response was that it was MY preferred location, but not what THEY could provide. Nowhere through the on line process did I receive a statement that the truck was NOT available at my preferred location. If one had not been available, I would have checked a different location or different company to rent from. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was connected to one, who essentially said the same thing, they guaranteed the truck but not location. She did offer to allow an additional day at no charge, but I would still have to drive the 20 miles (40 round trip to pick it up and take it to where I needed it, before even loading). I hung up, and called the local store that I had originally preferred, and the lady I talked to there, confirmed that they did not have what I needed at that location. However, she transferred me to their scheduler (presumably in house) who checked all of the local sites, and was able to find what I needed at the location I ended up using for pick up, which was considerably closer than the 20 miles that I had been given previously. I called that location, confirmed that the scheduler had changed my reservation to this new location and spoke to a very helpful man who said it was indeed confirmed, at their location and for the truck I wanted. My issue is, why could not their call center "customer service" do the same thing? The initial CSR I spoke to did not seem the least bit interested in resolving this. I was very frustrated with them, as I have rented from UHaul before and
